Inconspicuous self-defence weapons for Belgium

So my GF lives in an area that's become a little rough and there have been reports of girls being harassed and mugged in the street so she obviously afraid. Since anything that can be used as a weapon might get you in trouble in Belgium if shit goes down I was wondering if there are any items that she may carry for her protection and still have a plausible explanation for.

I know pepper spray is probably the most effective and safest option but it's obviously a self-defence weapon. Same goes for rods/bats/batons or the like. A short lockable knife could fit the idea but it seems to me it only raises the stakes and can potentially get you killed if you don't have a clue how to use it.

I was thinking a heavy enough camera pole might be an option - you can always be like 'I just carry it around for selfies'. It seems like it could deter your average opportunist thief and if the worst comes to the worst and she loses control of it getting beaten with a pole is probably still better than getting shanked. Any thoughts, Jow Forums?

>but it's obviously a self-defence weapon

"weapon" is a little strong.

I too support womens' right to learn self-defense skills.

I know mate but the law goes along the lines of anything that can be used with the intent of harming someone is viewed as a weapon, including pepper spray. As pepper spray has no other uses it's therefore problematic.

damn, kinda jelly. story?

I know I'm just being pedantic. Tell her to keep a solid sized, sturdy, metal, flashlight in her purse and use that. The right kind will put a world of hurt on someone and she can be like "I use it because it's dark some times lel".

he touched her boobs.

You think she's better off using a flashlight than a pole? The average camera monopod weighs about a pound and is about 25 inches long unextended. It seems to me having a bit more reach might be more useful but then I know nothing about self defence

damn i love mixed wrestling

Flash light is a much more believable excuse imo. Also, as with carrying a firearm, most people will carry it more often if it is more convenient to carry.

She's a woman.
In Belgium.
Who's gonna give her shit for carrying a weapon?

Damn that girl in the right side of the pic is a qt.
Bullshit aside, if you guys cant get a handgun, a BIG bottle of mace in her purse or an extendable baton, OR a bigass full tang knoife.

>oh no you sure got me this time!

>mace in her purse or an extendable baton, OR a bigass full tang knoife

He already said that stuff is illegal basically.

Yeah, good point. I'd have to find something of the right size though. There doesn't seem to be much between tiny LED flashlights and the huge Maglites.

No one, unless shit goes down and someone ends up injured. If you stab your attacker, even if it's self defence, and he turns out to be unarmed you are fucked there

baka

God forbid America ever become so ducked.
God speed, Belgianbro, if it really comes down to it, fashion a heavy wooden "dildo" for her to use. Possible additions could include metal studs for pleasure.

Flashlight and pen. Not great weapons, but legal everywhere and pretty handy to have around just for utility purposes.

Coin saps can deliver quite the wallop.

Either it's staged or this man is mentally disabled. Probably the former.

Just get her a massive double sided dildo. Those things can easily knock multiple teeth out, she can just explain how her boyfriend and herself are gonna fuck each other's ass with it.

A big ol Maglite flashlight
