Just watched it. Decent overall, but a couple parts bugged me. The slide bite that looked like it almost tore his thumb off was a little silly. Worse than that, though, was the full-auto AK pistols he bought from the big-titted blonde in the sporting goods store.
Probably modded the AK's for full auto, guy wasn't exactly obeying the law and you might as well go all in. >if a few dozen citizens did this crime would be nonexistent Man, if there was a IRL Punisher that would be awesome.
Cameron Thompson
Yeah, that's pretty much where I am on it. The lack of titties in the home invasion scene was disappointing. They got that right in the original.
Yeah, that would be amazing. Pop some shitbags and the rest would be scared shitless. Keep their (((lawyers))) from filing appeal after appeal while they stay out on the streets continuing their bullshit...fucking sucks.

I checked Rotten Tomatoes for the reviews and all the negative reviews were people pitching a fit that it was inappropriate to have this movie come out at this time. Bruce Willis annihilating scumbags is apparently the same as some autist shooting up some high schoolers.
Benjamin Ward
I liked it. I think Bruce phoned it in in a couple scenes.
Camden Collins
The movie made some major time skips so maybe he actually got the tax stamp for the auto AR. The gun store did say they would take care of all the paperwork. A lot of suppressor vendors do that.
Leo Peterson
I thought it was an ar15 variant or Sig MPX not an AK.
The concealed gun could have had a binary trigger
Jack Walker
didn't see the original yet. but what i expected was a white punisher when what i got was a handful of drug dealers and thieves getting shot.
i was a bit dissapointed at his overall kill count.
Oliver Cook
It was an F-1 Firearms AR pistol, and it was literally actually full auto and fully functional. Look at their Facebook, they are very proud.
Gavin Peterson
> what i expected was a white punisher IIRC, it's been a while since i've seen it, Paul Kersey was a architect or some shit. Not a Force Recon guy or whatever Frank is/was. Kind of a Bernard Goetz type, everyday guy fighting back against the regular dregs of society.
The beginning when he first goes into the gunshop and the chick starts talking in this sarcastic voice about the background check and everything, as if she was gonna skip it or some shit. It just felt very forced.
Second was the full auto ar pistol at the end. Everything was legal until that bit. I mean maybe if he had a bump stock or he filed the sear. But the police would have noticed it once they took it into evidence.
It wasnt a huge time skip, if i recall, daughter was good to go home after a week, so I assume he did everything in 1 week or 1 month max.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago on a sunday evening. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
There was about 15 of us in the theatre and at age 48 I was the youngest. Enjoyable pre-movie convo as all of us old farts talked about when we saw the originals. First one I saw in theatres was DW3 in '85.
The audience cheered every time a bad guy got it and several "oohs" & "ahhhs" & "right-on!" when guns were shown. Lol. Chuckling at the tactical table, and comments about wishing we had gun stores like that here in Canuckistan. Haven't had this much fun at the movies in a long time. :^)
Andrew Baker
On a weeknight at 10 the entire theater was black, half full. No one was over 30.

This. The movie was inspired by a regular guy turned vigilante in NYC when he shot nogs in self-defense. > en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1984_New_York_City_Subway_shooting > On December 22, 1984, Bernhard Goetz shot four alleged muggers on a New York City Subway train in Manhattan. He fired five shots, seriously wounding all four men. > Goetz surrendered to police nine days after the shooting and was eventually charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and several firearms offenses. A jury found him not guilty of all charges except for one count of carrying an unlicensed firearm. > Goetz, dubbed the "Subway Vigilante" by New York City's press, came to symbolize New Yorkers' frustrations with the high crime rates of the 1980s. He was both praised and vilified in the media and public opinion. > The incident has also been cited as a contributing factor to the groundswell movement against urban crime and disorder, and the successful National Rifle Association campaigns to loosen restrictions on the concealed carrying of firearms.
Can someone post that pic of Bruce Willis in a movie theatre surrounded by 56%er?
Gavin Martin
don't watch remakes/reboots/unnecessary sequels
they remade psycho ffs. Hollywood is shit these days. stupid US superhero crap and fucked up starwars and shitty reboots and 'franchises'
Zulu a bridge too far waterloo 1970 sparacus full metal jacket where eagles dare das boat kellys heroes hirty harry clint westerns once apon a time in the west/America fist full of dynamite the duelists
none of them would be made now, just batman farts the revenge and star wars 17 the gay jedi
Noah Green
It's mostly nogs and spics that go to the movies, they're easy to pander to with crappy movies with lots of cgi and explosions.
Jacob Russell
>This. The movie was inspired by a regular guy turned vigilante in NYC when he shot nogs in self-defense. >Bernhard Goetz >December 22, 1984 Doesn't realize the original movie came out in 1974.
Matthew Wilson
i thought the same, those two things were what bothered me the most. I did enjoy the liberal tears that came with it though
>getting a modern full auto fun just like that i did like the table thing though. it was funny seeing in the ad too.
Jaxson Cook
I forgot to add >bad guy is a house burglar >has enough people around and full auto firearms
can this actually be achieved from breaking in houses?
Brody Scott
highpoint of Hollywood was 1950-1985 after that mostly shit wit a few gems buried in the turds like fight club. You can basically date Hollywood as going to shot from the first batman movie in 1989 and steadily getting worse an worse. Sequels were bad enough but reboot and franchise is it rotting in the grave
Jose Cox
That and you can't tell when they're pandering to foreign audiences by how awful dialogues are. There is less and less actual dialogue in movies, with even less vocabulary. They're pandering to retards and brainlets.
