Anyways, I bought a Beretta APX for $349.99 since I got it for distributor pricing, then bought 2 of the 21 round mags and an additional grip frame. Then it comes with 5 free mags in rebate.

I did two payments of 70$ because i spent 150$ last night on an axe and it wouldnt hurt to space out my purchases.

I'll know for sure this week, but it looks like I'll be acquiring 10 acres inna West Texas woods with a creek, well and septic system. Half the property is on a hill top with good visibility all around, and the entry is about half a mile from a paved 2 lane freeway. Civilization about ~20 minute drive through the woods away. Close enough for supply runs, far enough out to bug out to and shoot on. Good Hunting right on the property and the low side with the creek touches a protected wetland preservation area.
Been looking for a long, long time for a Jow Forumsompound location, and finally found this place. It's just about perfect for me.
Technically not an "acquisition" yet, but it looks like a pretty sure thing.

Something like that. An old Gunsmith i know(buddies grandpa) order a bunch of 45-70 barrels back in the day and started putting them in or on stuff.

He converted a parker-hale double barrel to 45-70 with two of the barrels. He also at somepoint converted a hakim to shoot 45-70.(some guy in town still has it and ive been trying to see it).

Trigger is fantastic, the dual optic is absolute ass but oh so aesthetic, and despite being plastic fantastic feels very well put together.
Gonna get around to converting it to take doublestack G36 mags at some point, haven't been able to find any unmolested bolts in stock.

I bought a great condition Marlin Model 60 with the 22" barrel and 18 round tube mag. Things a fuckin tack driver and fun as can be to shoot. Best $100 I have spent in awhile

Remember that guy who bought a DR200 at cabelas for like 650 a year or two ago? Well, I found one at another cabela's for 600, and with gift cards and stuff, I ended up only paying 488.50 for it. Three 30 round mags, a 5 round mag, a shitty scope which I gave away, and a harris bipod mount.
Not in the best shape, but I'm happy for the money. They really don't know what they have sometimes.
