the only thing worse than a communist is a police officer go bootlick elsewhere
>tfw Jow Forums is a libertarian board
I want to like state troopers but every time they pass me at 90 mph while I'm going 75 mph in a 70 mph zone it steams by greens. That said, if I ever roll my car while trying to slap my kids in the back seat I'll probably be thankful for the assistance.
State troopers will be the future gestapo for the individual states.
Jow Forums does not like the gestapo.
>tfw
of being a tool?
woooo I helped design his lightbar
I personally love Georgia state patrol cars. The color combo does something for me.
The OK ones, especially the ones in the SE on 70 that are set up with auxiliary radios and a beefier brush guard on the front. They also rock AT tires. I hate state troopers here in TX but the Okie ones are always cool to me.
Who elects the leader of the State Truppen? From where do they derive authority? How can they be held accountable for the inevitable abuses and infringements they will inflict upon the public?
>where do they derive their authority
From the state.
Was that supposed to be a satisfactory answer?
I don't know how it is in other states but nothing makes your asshole pucker up like seeing one of these guys in your rear view. The old joke is that they will give their own mother a ticket on her birthday.
Just realized it does not say "Ohio" anywhere in the pic other than our flag wrapped around the pole.
Ours look bretty gud
Usually the governor appoints the Colonel, who is in charge of the state police.
Just like the mayor appoints the chief of city police.
Or the president appoints the head of the FBI.
Are you one of those idiots who thinks only the sheriff themselves are allowed to arrest people?
uniforms are old school too
The times that I've blown past a State Trooper in northern Illinois going 20+ over is exactly two. Pucker was indeed maximum. But nothing happened.
MSP have best uniforms, even though I don't like the switch back to smokey hats.
Blue Goose looked at lot better when they were Crown Vic's too.
Also, never had a problem with the state troopers in Michigan. Always seemed nice.
>northern illinois
Hello fellow prisoner
Why we need law enforcement anywhere past the county
/ municipal level is a complete mystery to me. Whatever, the monster needs money, I guess.
Ugly ass crip blue chargers though.. always trying to catch me on 131
DONT EVA SHOW YA FACE IN QUINCY AGAIN

The uniforms are breddy great, too
Delaware ain't bad.
Illinois =/= Ohio
Where’s the RI uniforms? I’m a violent libertarian criminal, but even I gotta give it up for that fashion
Police loyal to the state instead of their local municipality?!
WHAT COULD GO WRONG???
Guys I'm a little weirded out about how every single vehicle in this thread is facing diagonally to the left
you're not fitting in here
Professional photography. They have unlimited money to spend, genius.
NYSP are Cuomo's personal gestapo army and are the enemy of all freedom loving NYers.
it is no measure of sanity to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society. jj kishumuri
I like the uniform of the NJSP, still has that old school vibe.
Maine
how has Texas not been mentioned yet? plus they use nice Chevy Tahoes
MD State Trooper cruiser has always looked cool to me in the OD green. Not a big fan of the uniforms though and that straw hat.
How about the most boring? Pic related, only markings is the light up "state police" on the light bar,
fox61.com
We just lost one for the first time in a while up here.
Sounds like someone wasn't paying attention, sad for something so pointless to happen.
After the AWB I was pretty angst towards them, but it sounds like they're keeping a lot of stuff in the hush hush, regarding "firearms". For now at least
Paul Vance is a colossal faggot though, I hope he chokes on a big old cock.
Oregon is changing colors soon. I haven't seen any of them on the road yet.
My father claims that the ones driving tahoes are basically moving arsenals.
Not weapons related.
My buddy works on these at snethkamp and gets to transport them. They fucking FLY down the highway
S
When I lived in New Hampshire, this used to scare the shit out of me driving weed back home to Mass
Idaho car
I wouldn't doubt it, but they are pretty much changing over from the crown vic's to them since they can handle the dirt roads and stuff better
that kind of shit should be reserved for undercover only imho, cops aren't there for tickets
You'll be with them on the day of the shoulder cruise.
You have some goddamned strangely named towns near the border.
No, image related.
Same direction as the oppression.
Hope you guys like brown.
CHPs have the LEAST aesthetic khaki abomination of a uniform, but the cars look alright
I was born in IL but spent my teens in WI. Would NEVER go back to IL. Might go back to WI in the future, though.
The Gary-Chicago interstate stretch might as well be Nazi Germany
>Old school vibe
Its literally based off the Wehrmacht's uniforms.
Speak for yourself homos
I didn't know there were so many gross looking HP cars out there. I like my state's at least. SC has that simple, elegant look going on.
Also every state trooper I've met has been pretty cool. I only ever see them pull people over when the person is doing 20 over on the interstate while also driving like an asshole. Which is a +1 in my book.
Another vote for Maryland’s State Police. My dad was a member of the MSP in the 1970s and he still has his beaver skin hat. They still use beaver skin as it’s water proof and don’t have to cover th it hats in plastic like faggots when it rains.
Minnesota reporting in.
Hold your fire until you see maroon.
No
I was looking for my states uniforms, and honestly I've never looked at the patch, but now that I've seen it I like it.
God bless Alabama. Our uniforms are boring though.
I've done ride along with troopers. They are down to earth as it gets and they will help you if you let them. They can be a paranoid bunch though. One trooper told me the average response time for an "officer in danger" call is 20 minutes in that area. It's a rural county. Almost all the troopers there are in martial art classes and are Jow Forums.
You do realize Sheriff's Deputies are not allowed to enter other counties while in uniform without specific consent of that county's Sheriff, right? State Troopers are literally the only police who can follow someone from one country to another.
The normal response time in Wyoming can be over an hour depending on location. Just did a training with these guys, they are all very down to earth, know their case law like the back of their hands, and can put all their rounds in a 1MOA circle from a standing position at 50 yds. Also really nice, if you tell them you're carrying their response is usually "Alrighty, well, we are in Wyoming, just don't shoot me with it."
Here's that video if you're interested, we had more actors than expected so I didn't get to shoot at any cops but such is life. Also note, this is specifically "high risk" training, so they all expect to get shot in every scenario.
Here.
New York State Troopers
Fuck OSP, jackboots for queen cunt in Salem.
Pretty sure those are just NSUs
Best state troopers coming through
it's literally not you fucking idiot
I like Florida's Highway Patrol. Aesthetic as fuck paint scheme and old school uniforms
Missouri
They don't fuck around. Mine carry 357 Sig too. I'm sure people that buy white and silver Chargers are trying to be dicks, just like auction Crown Vics with pushbars and spotlights still on the A-pillars.
I've literally never gotten a ticket from FHP. Doing 90 in a 75? Lol bro slow down, here's a warning. Tail the last car through a red light turn arrow? Hey man, be safe. Don't be stupid. Here's a warning.
It's like one no homo bro moment away from being range bros
We can't afford white paint for our patrol cars but we could afford that fucking dome.
It's very Indiana. Functional while still being completely boring.
Missouri HP we always wear our seat belts.
Gold on navy is always aesthetic, but hey, that design looks familiar. Who did it first, VT or NY?
Shame the newer NY trooper cars are gold on black instead of blue, it looks like shit in comparison and they're all still using the same reflector tape cutouts on the back that they used on the Crown Vics. I can only assume they ordered several hundred thousand sets or something.
This is also true. Fuck the staties.
>some poor fuck getting stopped by the staties on the way home from price chopper and wegmans for doing 2 over the limit with already-breaking cold pack visible on the road in the background
Yup, it's upstate!
I-95 to Miami is the only time someone has been mad at me for only doing 95 in a carpool lane. It took me a week to chill out and not do 85 in a 60 when I went home.
>haven't been on Jow Forums in awhile
>instantly see bootlicker threads
>mfw
bye
Florida fag here. FHP definitely has one of the best looking cars on the road. Color scheme and design are top notch.
I have never been a fan of the uniform tho, and frankly Ive always hated the state trooper hats. campaign hats have always looked cheesy to me. If youre a state trooper do you have to wear the hat?
those boots are so dumb.
I've been out here in West Texas for a couple years now. I don't believe I've seen a state trooper driving anything else other than a Tahoe.
Fuck road pirates and you fags that support them
fuck the police, but I think uniforms are neat
On the plus side, the money they appropriate from you usually goes to schools, so there's that.
Objectively the most iconic and aesthetic police uniform of all time.
(They are the police force of eight provinces so they count)
Whats the peckin order lads.
State local fed?
Do troopers troop county pds? I know feds in the end but trooper vs pd? Relationship, dynamic..
I love the look of Alaska TROOPERS
Yeah. Pretty sure they all do. Only time I've seen them wearing ball caps is they're version of the SWAT team
Yeah I've been clipped once on 95 northbound out of Miami. To be fair the farther South you go the more you get third world driving so I can see how they'd be more hardassy about it
>chevrons sown on so that they are exactly perpendicular but only if the guys hands are clasped behind his back
Not telling me shit. One of these bastards gave me a ticket last week. He had the newer body style charger though. Could have gave me a ticket for speed ( 41 in a 35 ), but just gave me a bullshit $60 seatbelt ticket instead. Actually, now that I think of it.. These fuckers have pulled me over a LOT, and I have only ever gotten a seatbelt ticket. hmm. But, their cars sure are fun to drive!
I can tell you who has the least aesthetic cruiser.
>it's just silver
>no markings
>ugly ass rims
>light bar optional
Arizona
So you don't want the car pulling you over and extorting you to be ugly? You want the cars your tax dollars pay for to be even more expensive so you can be pulled over and extorted more aesthetically? Gotcha
I'm actually seen a couple of charger ones.
Same, the majority are tahoes
Yes, if they're going to extort and oppress me I at least want them to look like a respectable professional agency while they're doing it.
