Which Assault Rifle 15 do you own?

I don;t own an assault rifle I do have an AR-15 semi automatic sporting rifle though. I also have a couple curio and relic SKS and Cetme rifles. No assault rifles though they are to expensive to own and I also don't want to go through the hassle of the $200 tax stamp.

none. i'm boycotting AR platform rifles until it's possible/legal to buy modern milsup weapons instead of gimped civilian versions at exorbitant prices.

even if you had to take some course to buy them, that would still be fine. but i see no reason why a civilian who is comparably trained and vetted should not be allowed to possess the same rifles as military personnel.

if someone can explain how this state of affairs isn't a blatant violation of 2A, then i'm all ears.

take veterans for example. why can't they buy an m16?

a typical "leftist" argument against civilian ownership of military hardware is that they're not qualified to operate them. so then why can't veterans? they were perfectly qualified to operate the weapon while they were on military payroll. their skills and training don't magically disappear after they leave the military, so there's no (ethical) reason whatsoever to prohibit them from buy a rifle identical to the one they were issued.

i don't think most people have the ability to tease apart the political "cable package" archetypes that are advertised to them like character classes in an RPG. i don't think they can examine the individual components and critically ask themselves whether they fit together.

Everything, they're the Harbor Freight of the gun supplies world. Their retro line is pure garbage, the main offenders are the furniture. Oh and the price tag. I built a true spec 1:12 from NDS for $800 including misc parts.
