I've heard that, unironically, that scene is supposed to be that they are guided where to shoot by someone who has accurate info on all the hostile, and the girls in the webm are literally shooting through walls at nothing they can see themselves.

It doesn't excuse the Movie Maker tier muzzle flashes or overall bad acting, but they're not supposed to be actively aiming by themselves, just given commands like "good, shoot NOW!" and "a little to the left, GO NOW!"

Titanfall 2 got this right. If you reload before the gun is completely empty no charging thus reload is shorter. Go through a whole mag there is an extra charging/racking animation.

of all fucking games GTA V actually did this right. Reloading on empty or partially empty will show your character pull back the charging handle, but on a partially empty reload a live cartridge will fly out of the gun.

Weapons techs get ignored A LOT on set. Directors and actors have a certain way they want a scene to look or feel and won't pay attention to how ludicrous is makes the gunplay look. What if the tech just said, "fuck it," after a while and started taking rear sights off and giving intentionally bad advice to actors as an elaborate troll job?

rear sights cause some hazards with grappling prop guns and other shit like that, in JW2 there were some scenes where they removed the gun sights. But yeah it's pretty bad, especially considering guns are supposed to be a big part of the show.
