SR15s are alright. The handguards are a solid 8/10 for me. Parts quality steps it up, but that doesnt affect aesthetics.

I really like the SR15's and I love the URX3.1 a lot. I'd love to have a full SR15 too. But they really don't do anything for me aesthetically anyway. I think the LMT MRPs are more aesthetic than KAC.

An op rod transfers energy from one place in the rifle to another
An AR doesn't have an op rod, but rifles like the AUG do. The piston strikes the end of the op rod which is attached to the bcg which is what cycles the rifle. The charging handle on the AUG impinges upon a second op rod which is similarly attached to the bcg.

The G3 family of rifles have what could be considered an op rod as well but it solely exists to connect the charging handle to the BCG

I like this rifle aside from the trigger guard, the shitty irons, and the overweight barrel. Not sure why so many of you guys still buy shit barrel profiles. Makes the gun feel so much heavier than it needs to.

No more wiggling than a TLR1 on A2's factory Glock. Problem fixed with a small rubber shim. I was just being autistic.

Before it got broken in and had the slides lapped it had a few FTE's but that was only when running a suppressor that honestly needed a good cleaning and lubing of the piston.

You can talk all the shit you want but it is at 700 rounds so far malfunction free.
