Didn't word it that well, I'm german so my englisch is not that great. It was more of a distribution thing? It got massive amounts of energy from big nuclear plants, and specifically distributed it only to that metwalworks, if that makes any sense. We did see a MASSIVE turbine generator, but that seemed to be for backup.
The giant metalworks it sent everything to is cockereill-sambre in belgium, the one we couldn't get into because of security

Get good gloves. I have full arcteryx gear, and the gloves are by far my most used out of everything.
Also you may want to start with completely abandoned stuff, I mostly do active stuff and running from cops in a crumbling and dangerous environment really isnt fun. Oh and maybe don't overkill the shoes. I've seen people trying to hop fences or climb in steel toe/sole boots, not a good idea. I just use some solid new balance
