Is it bad that I want to rebarrel a Winchester 1907 or a Remington Model 8 to 7.62 x 39 using an SKS barrel? I read that the original special snowflake calibers are roughly equivalent to 7.62 x 39 in terms of energy, and there are forum posts where people claim to have done so with a port-less SKS or AK barrel, but without pictures.

I think it was more on the lower end of what they were chambered in but still doable.

It seems more like a "shotgun" for legal purposes only, and uses paradox rifling at the end of a smoothbore (Which is legally a shotgun barrel in Russia, apparently) to just fire normal bullets. According to the source I'm looking at, they don't even have shotshells for this "shotgun" yet.
