I'll start with my proposal, I call it the "ayylmao" sight. I has a triangular design that combines the peep sight with the trapezoid style sight used on some handguns
It's stupid but I like it.
I used to feel that rudimentary sights like shotgun beads and simple notch+blades were too plain jane, but there's a love to be had for simplicity.
Perfect sights already exist
