Why did they have to fall for the flip up BUIS meme, when they could have just made the gas block a front sight, built the rear sight low into the receiver cover, and used a stock that wasn't so hideous? You could still use optics, just without risers.

I never finished designing my space gun. It sure as hell isn't a traditional firearm. A traditional gun will work just fine, but considering how I have to travel for ammo, I need something different. What would I shoot anyway? Maybe other people trying to claim the territory for themselves. IDK.
