The hk45c or ct is the better choice if you want a 45. It was literally designed as a .45 replacement for the too big Mk23 and slightly too big an unergonomic hk45ct(aka mk23 mod 1). You can tell by the way the seals picked it up to replace them. If you want a 9 then it'll either be the p2000 or p30 depending on if you like the latter's ergos. The p2000 will probably win considering what a "go to war gun" typically entails, which is essentially doing things you cant do with a rifle. That being said both sig p226s and recently G19s have been actually picked by serious users for that role so consider that.

I’ve got a usp 9 mm with a gg&g adapter and surefire 300. Would suck a dick to find an rti holster with level 2 retention

if i had it my way, id be having this argument at your local range, but someone doesnt want to move down there "at this time"..

KT Mech for Owb, Comptac Minotaur for IWB, whoa that was so hard that I used google to find out what was best then bought and used both, I have zero complaints about either

Stay where you are thx

"unergonomic usp45ct"

It's not a soldier's gun. With tight tolerances, it's un-fucking-reliable.

were going to touch pp's, you just wait and see.

Galco and Safariland make holsters for those guns. You put in an order, gun, make, model and they'll make it.

i was looking at jobs in tampa.

>tampa
oof
You'd be near one of my buddies I guess but that's a solid 3hr from me and almost 2 from where we shoot now and potential larping land

>it's dated
>posts cheaply made, less durable gun

2-3 extra rounds, and tan colored doesn't make it futuristic.

Not seeing rti hanger or compatible with my
Light/adapter

Are these known for their reliability? My dad has one of these in pristine condition. I've never experienced a ftf so maybe there's something to that.

Holy shit I take it back. user you rock

Good thing that's not a nova

you understand wrong. They're probably the best budget modern production pumps on the market. the mossy and rustington just have aftermarket.

Yes, keep goin

>Would suck a dick to find an rti holster with level 2 retention

Dremmeled and filed a x300 to fit my USP without an adapter.
Obviously there are no available holsters for this.

So, fot into working with kydex. It couldn't be more simple. Toaster oven, yoga mat and if you want; a cheap heat-gun are all the tool you need to make it work great.

Get some stick on felt-patches from Amazon and you've got a g-code equivalent.

>Yes, keep goin

I hope I do, I wanted to buy a Nova pump because of muh counterstrike

but I've heard multiple problems about the firing pin and the rubber piece that holds it.

I'm considering adding a threaded barrel and a match trigger kit to my USP45 compact and doing a sort of mock USP45CT, then getting a USP9c for conceal carry. I could also just stop being a faggot and take these adjustable sights off my compact and put them on my USP45 Tactical, since the guy I bought it from took the adjustables off. What say you, Jow Forums?

UNRELIABLE

It absolutely is.

There are enough Kydex benders out there that can make good holsters and mag pouches.

The gun itself is fine but the huge controls on the side aren't great for a modern thumbs forward grip. Trying to find a retention holster that fits a USP with light is pretty much impossible and I think that is the biggest downside...It would suck to go to war with a shitty molded kydex holster with zero retention. There are better options out there without a doubt the USP is pretty dated and the aftermarket sucks.

For me the USP's controls are just perfect. I can rest my thumb on the safety and the other thumb indexes on the slide lock's pivot axis. On other guns I often have the problem that the right hand's thumb will press on the slide release, preventing the slide from locking. I also love the aggressive grip texture. Only the mag release levers could be a tad longer for extra comfort.

UN FUCKING RELIABLE?!?

IT'S NOT A SOLDAH'S GUN!

Jesus christ that wobble

Is it true that full size USPs can handle .45 Super out of the box? If not, what kind of recoil spring should one buy to make it so?

Also, how is the recoil impulse of the compact USPs vs the full size models? I know they use differen't recoil spring systems and was wondering if there was a significant difference.

Attached: 1524113208244.jpg (900x700, 66K)

Get Wolf 18lb recoil spring to shoot .45 super

Difference is negligible between full size and compact once you account for size.

It’s not a soldiers gun

wow that's so funny the 18th time it's posted in the thread nice work user you've done it again

Huh. I didn't know this existed. I want one.

Looks even cooler with a weight

Excellent "go to war" gun despite the polymer frame which isn't a detriment.

In reality, even deployed (using the term loosely to account for non-military expeditions) far forward you will rarely utilize your handgun outside of training and the lighter weight makes the compromise worth it.

Mine is either '02 or '03 and it has had zero problems ever. Could just be that I take care of it and only use it for bird season and trap but take what you want from that.

Is HK ever going to continue their stainless line? Finding a stainless .45 compact is suffering.

>go to war gun
>handgun
user plz

The first time you actually have to run to cover or climb over something your USP is falling out of that piece of shit holster

Okay, thanks for your expert assessment of a 2d fucking image.

A screwed on kydex clip is always a sign of a shitty holster.

>tfw torn between the .45 Tactical and the Mark 23

The Tactical has all the utility I'd need at a smaller size and lower price, but the thought of owning a Mark 23 makes me tent my pants. Maybe if I eventually stop being poor I'll own both.

Attached: Mark 23.jpg (504x352, 58K)

It is any easy gun to shoot. Don’t need match trigger or special sights. Just shoot it. Anyone who invests in the tactical version is probably mall ninja thats wants to feel special. If you need suppressed capability, then spring for the threaded barrel.

The match trigger is fucking tight though. The adjustable overtravel stop is very nice. I kept everything else stock and only added the trigger and it was so worth it.

They don't still make the USPc tactical do they? I can't find any for sale in Banada.

I love how retarded people on Jow Forums can be about gear. Go back to /arg/

shitty is shitty dude, no getting around it

No it's not.

>IT'S UNRELIABLE

I have both, the USP 45T is probably what you want. It's really what the Mk23 should have been.

no, it's not

Attached: 20150525_193851 (1).jpg (3264x1836, 1.53M)

The people who it was designed for would disagree with you.

Pin that trigger housing, man.

if you have tiny girl hands maybe

never

Attached: 20170301_214838.jpg (1440x2560, 1.16M)

you don't make sense my man

literally the only complaint against it is the size, and capacity

Add weight. balance, stupid decocker/safety setup to that. Then you add the suppressor to the end of it the balance gets even worse. Plus my USP 45t has a better trigger (I added the 3 match springs to get full match trigger). Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a meme gun and probably won't ever get rid of my Mk23 but let's not pretend it's amazing.

Where are the usp45s?

we must not own the same kind of gun I guess

hi

We're talking about the Mark23 and USP 45t, pay attention pumpkin.

I have a USP45 with a Surefire X300 Ultra on a GG&G mount, and I'm thinking about going with this holster, since the slide of the gun has been Cerakoted in fagtarn:
hessenantique.com/Flecktarn_Modular_Holster_System_p/3118006.htm

I've posted a pic of the assembled gun before, but I'm at work right now. Yes, it was done by Copper Custom.

I was saying that we have had completely different experiences with the guns, so much that it is like you own a completely different firearm. I must have overestimated your ability and reading comprehension because you did not understand, sugar :^)

Fuck you that camo looks too goddamn awesome! Fuck I need that on my USPs....
