post itt if you would SMASH a cadet
Only with a hammer
Hey man I was in the cadets back from 07 till 2010. I had fun, C7s, Enfields repelling 60 feet down. I probably wouldnt have gotten into shooting if it wasnt for that first time on the ranger with a no4mk1
>are you some kind of yankee roleplayer come to troll the thread again because you think 80% lowers are impressive or something
what? a lower receiver is considered the gun, not a part in canada and the US, and ARs are restricted so the make/serial number is registered
so my point was, a completely mark free AR lower couldn't exist, even if it only had a serial number it would still need some manufacturer makings of some sort
Got me my pilots license for free.
Fucking pigeons.
Fuck yeah
Watching Goodale trip on every counter question is so funny but cringe inducing.
>so minister how does c71 help prevent theft of lawfully acquired firearms?
>uhhhhhhhhhhhh well we can track who buys what and!
>that's not the question
>uhhhhh well uuh uhhh
Stupid fat fuck
ive always hated cadets because theyre a bunch of spoilt brats
they get licenses and jump wings and shit basically for free just because mommy paid for a youth program for them
and all of them end up either tranny lesbians or far-right ancaps
>far right ancaps
What's wrong with that
There should only be a restricted registry for handguns, all R rifles should not be required to be registered due to their (often inherent) similarities to NR rifles and their excessive lack of representation in gun crime, or even use in defensive situations considering the two defensive shootings recently.
Change my mind.
Next up is that there should be no registry for any R firearm.
large scale economies are unwieldy, and require careful management to avoid dire bubbling, currency crashes, and other such scenarios, let alone human decency and fair competition
There should be no registry period.
Your already vetted and background checked every Fucking day.
Yeah, the program can be really toxic and annoying lots of the time, but assuming you can navigate the BS, the opportunities that are available, are unbeatable. There's no other youth organization in Canada that can compete
most everyone from my corp is either still in uni or Reg force now. I enjoyed my time and made great friends whom I still keep in touch with.
Also FTX pussy is best pussy .
yeah but if you missed out that's basically it, your chances in life are ALL gone if you werent in cadets, and just because some dipshit had a helicopter mom who thought it was a good idea and you didn't defines the entire rest of your life
Illegal therefore can not exist. Well, it can, you'd just be in deep shit if you got caught with it. Like saying you can't fix stupid. You can, however it is unlawful.
>Illegal therefore can not exist.
amerimutt detected
fun fact: illegal things can exist. law doesn't dictate reality, retard
that's exactly what he said though...
what the fuck is going on with the thread today? did everyone's reading comprehension go down the shitter or is it just the one guy accusing everyone of being american for no reason?
>he doesn't know as soon as the law is passed the bad scary guns will cease to exist
I look forward to your posts later this year when you come on Jow Forums screaming about how your SKS or Vz58 or other semi automatic rifle just faded into thin air.
Then you'll understand the power of big gubment.
DO AMERICANS REALLY BELIEVE THIS
Literally every part of that is wrong.
just one look at cryptocurrency booms and busts and general instability overall should tell you that unregulated free markets are a mistake in the modern era
If you're talking about Bitcoin, it's as much a currency as shares of Walmart. The overwhelming majority of transactions are done for the purpose of speculation and exchange to national currencies. What's more, Bitcoin value also fluctuates due to regulatory steps taken by governments. As a result of its dominant position, competing coins' values are affected as well, even if people wanted to use them to buy things (which they mostly don't).
If people were buying groceries, gasoline, and clothes in Bitcoin, you would find the value to be significantly more stable. Blaming Bitcoin's woes on the free money market is silly.
Stop replying to the chinks
>If you're talking about Bitcoin,
nah I'm talking about the retard meme currencies like dogecoin and shit that come up once, boom, and then bust, never to be heard from again
>If people were buying groceries, gasoline, and clothes in Bitcoin,
what is the point of bitcoin anyway? you cant buy anything with it, and it's not backed by anything. why buy it? because it's a fucking ancap meme, thats why. crypto doesnt work exactly because it's unregulated and not backed.
inb4
>HURR DURR SHOULD BIGKOIN B A MILLION LAWS HURR
"regulated" doesn't mean tightly controlled, but any currency does need to be backed by something, even if it's a cabal of private interests instead of a state government, otherwise the currency's value will fluctuate basically randomly and it will become useless for buying anything normally
Question for some of you normie shits who go to the range and stuff in public. How often do the horsefuckers show up? How often do they check that your mags are pinned and stuff? Have you ever been caught with an SKS that had a broken mag pin? asking for a friend
literally never
100% of the time
So assuming that my buddy hid his power level and didn't go around dumping 30 rounds you could just be subtle and get by and nobody would notice?
I'm getting mixed signals here goys
Um, that was my point exactly. From Nova Scotia if you must know.
if you're so paranoid about the horse police, you shouldnt own a gun tbqh famalampaitachi
>talking about the retard meme currencies like dogecoin and shit that come up once, boom, and then bust, never to be heard from again
And their market cap is literally nothing. People spend more on coffee and magazines at the check out counter. It's not even a problem, it's just people wasting a little money on stupid shit that doesn't amount to anything. And again, those aren't currencies in any meaningful sense of the term.
>any currency does need to be backed by something
Fully agreed. Crypto is a step above fiat, but not by much. It has some advantages, but also major problems inherent in the system. The most stable system is a currency backed by precious metals (ideally, a system of private, 100% reserve currencies based on gold). It requires no regulation except the enforcement of fraud laws, such that a bank cannot simultaneously issue notes and loans backed by the same mass of gold. In one simple step, governments are forced to live within their means, banks cannot inflate the money supply and induce the business cycle, and international currency exchange calculations become very simple to do.
I’ve seen it twice. Once at a range and once at a local shooting spot.
The local shooting spot stop by was retarded. The horsemen was two lady cops and a dude wanted to check everyone’s mags and remind us about how dangerous it was to shoot on crown land. Even tried giving me greif over my pump action shotgun having a large magazine. Took all our names and pal information and said if we don’t pick up the clays after shooting they would charge us with littering
The range visit was because one of the local land owners had complained about rapid fire and was concerned there may be a machine gun....... everyone had bolt action rifles......
>Crypto is a step above fiat, but not by much.
crypto is a step BELOW fiat; fiat is at least backed by the overall production of a nation, crypto is literaly a meaningless token with no point of reference at all
Can we get a special font for sarcasm? I think we need one, eh?
haha yeah the Police are your friends, why would you ever worry about the police? Nothing to hide nothing to fear right? The RCMP are your friends. Schizos who worry about the RCMP should have their licenses revoked.
Funny how easily normies scare.
>omg the state is out to get me!!!
either you're too stupid to own a gun because you're too stupid to successfully evade the police, or you're too dangerous to own a gun because you actually intend on evading the police for nefarious reasons
C-71 is about public safety and common sense gun laws.
Most gun owners actually want it to pass
Im not naming names but I have a coworker who unpinned all of his mags, uses them at the range and crown land. He said at the range he only loads 5 per mag just to be safe.
Hes a nice guy a bit of a fudd when it comes to new firearms .
How about neither, because you're inferring shit that I didn't even remotely imply. Yeah man, going to the federally approved range is some nefarious shit.
>[triggered]
do you need a trip to the cry closet at your local university, user?
Do you support bill c-71 ?
>Yeah man, going to the federally approved range is some nefarious shit.
it is when you intend on breaking the law by using over sized magazines, but if you intend to do so and can't either hide it sensibly or refrain from doing it at all, lord knows what other dumb or outright nefarious shit you intend on doing soon
normal people jaywalk all the time, it's drug dealers and people about to rob places that wait for lights lest they get caught and ticketed for something dumb before ventilating some poor shop owner for the money in the till
Are LAR magazines about to get the axe?
I don't intend on breaking the law. I was asking a question about law enforcement and their habits.
As much as the RCMP would love to make 90% of gun owners criminals over night I don't think it will happen any time soon
>le just for informashunul purposes
here user let me show you something
I HAVE FULL INTENT TO MURDER JUSTIN TRUDEAU AS WELL AS THE ENTIRETY OF THE NEW DEMOCRATIC PARTY. ALSO THE QUEEN TOO. AND CHER SUCKS
see, havent been arrested. perhaps if you weren't too autistic to be trusted with guns, you too could do things that are illegal but ultimately harmless without getting hassled by the fuzz
I don't think the RCMP would like to do that, because that would create work for the RCMP and why would they want that when they can get paid for doing things that aren't work
The imagined pr boost of getting assault weapons off the streets might be worth it in their heads
>Common sense.
>Literally any LPC policy
If we're taking a vote, I want c71 to either fail or be repealed the day after the next election when cuckdeau is sent packing to Cuba to see the old man.
Blow it out your ass my dude. When all that stands between you and possession of a prohibited device is a 5 cent rivet, yeah, I feel pretty alright with being slightly paranoid about it. Recoil impulse can kill optics, do you really think a tiny rivet is safe?
maybe for some chiefs but the lower people in the organization wont exactly be going around rounding up people who have those mags, they aint paid for that shit, theyre paid to eat doughnuts and hassle people at the airport
They would be shown as ineffective when the have to come out and state that only 2000 odd fudds showed up to hand over their firearms
>le recoil w-will pop my le riviet out
if you're so worried about that, why not get a purpose-made 10 or 5 round mag in the first place? :^)
Surely you don't intend to modify your magazines to hold more than the legally prescribed limit, just get a magazine that is already that small. ::::^)
I've been going to various ranges for years now, I've never even seen them.
No. Some anons freaked out because alot of stores sold out at the same time (because everyone panic bought the mags) but the stock is full once again.
I know its just bait but but oh man that got me for a second
9/11 got me mad
>"I don't understand how rivets work" The Post
I know exactly how they work, that doesn't mean I trust them.
>on my 2nd week of waiting for my restricted registration transfer to go through
I THOUGHT THE MONTHS FOR THE LICENSE WAS GONNA BE IT :(
Buckle up, it's only going to be worse once C71 gets forced through
Yes user, it's certainly not that you're fishing for excuses to have when someone inspects your rifle (which will never happen) but that rivets are totally not secure at all. Jet fuel can melt rivets.
Man. Im sorry but I've never had a mag have the pin break . Like at all. Ive busted mags open when I dropped them...Ive also never heard of a pin just "popping out" unless the rcmp is near by.
it's my first semi auto and I'd rather not lose it suck my nuts.
Good to know I guess...
First one always takes longer. Mine was around 14 business days. Next one was 2.
>bite the pillow, it'll be over soon.
i intend on destroying the president of the united states AND fitting fully loaded 11 round magazines to my rifle. come at me horse cops
you have two options:
A) do crime, but don't be an autist about it so no one will care
B) don't do crime
you appear to be an autist so I suggest option B
>nuclear blast in Toronto
wtf i love justin trudeau now
Only going to get worst.
When’s the last time you went to a gun show on a week day.
You want this gun, cool let me just phone the cfo to make sure this plastic card with your likeness and an expiery date that hasn’t passed yet is valid.
......
Yeah just hold on I’m still on hold..... you can just leave your money here if you want might take a while, it is the weekend after all.
Just need to give them the PAL number and make/model and serial number. Totally not a registry.
Enjoy also waiting for the registration certificate before you're technically allowed to go shoot it
What are some non-restricted 7.62x51 rifles that take 10 round AR magazines? I've found 4:
>XCR-M
>Modern Hunter
>BCL-102
>Troy PAR
Any other I'm missing? Is the Desert Tech MDR ever going to be approved for Canada?
Ever try using a PAL as ID at a liquor store
>40 is the new 25
> hey there beareded man who obviously just got off working all day I’m going to need some ID before you can buy that 6 pack for 20 leafbucks
> yeah no that’s not valid ID
> yes I understand it’s government issued and it has your full name and picture
>no I didn’t know you needed background checks to get that piece of plastic, still not ID
> sorry for your luck then you could always bring in a birth certificate and two other forms of ID. No a PAL still wouldn’t count as another form of ID. You know lots of people are pleased when I card them makes them feel young lol
I used my RPAL as ID at a liquor store and the cashier just gave me a raised eyebrow and handed me my liquor.
Yeah it should be but places like LCBO don't accept it because it isn't on their approved list of IDs. Even though it fits all the requirements.
Oh! if you want to be legal and not use pins order from Aztech armoury They basically chalkblock the mags to 5
m14/m305s/m1a1s using AIA 10round enfield mags
Fuck off nigger, if horsefuckers get privy to this we're fucked
I used mine when I was enrolling in college. The dirty looks were worth it.
They know. They stated that if you cut a hole in it to resemble an m14 mag its prohibited. Theyre fine with it.
>They stated that if you cut a hole in it to resemble an m14 mag its prohibited. Theyre fine with it
lolwut
Yeah....
"We have a somewhat unique situation here. The magazines that fit and work in the 7.62 NATO AIA rifles will fit and work in any of the M14 type rifles. These mags are not M14 mags as they do not have the square hole in the front for the end of the M14 operating spring guide to fit into. This hole is not required in these mags for them to fit an M14 type rifle. It has been correctly pointed out that to make that hole in these mags could put you into the position of possessing a prohibited device, unless you permanently blocked them to a ten rd capacity." -Firearmsoutletcanada
Where does this meme keep coming from? Every single magazine I've ordered from aztec has been riveted exactly the same as any other retailer.
This is the only correct response
>Note that all magazines are blocked or pinned to legal Canadian limits prior to import. Whenever possible we install an internal block rather than a rivet.
>As of now, none of our Pmags will be riveted! We use an internal block which allows the magazine to be disassembled for proper cleaning.
Thanks for the catch user.
But yeah read alittle more into it. Its not all mags...just the most common types
It's not gay if you beat them up afterwards
No its gay. It has a penis.
Nobody said you had to touch it.
As long as you don't grab the shaft, the balls don't touch and you beat them up after, it's not gay. Those are the rules.
umm Sweetie, thats like....uhhh problematic....
You've never seen the head break off and the rest of the rivet fall inside whatever its riveted into?
But would making such a statement like that on here come back to haunt you if you needed any kind of government clearance?
Shud the fugg up you bish :DDDDDD
Suggi suggi >:DDDDDD
Speaking as someone with clearance that's said a lot worse than that it's a total non-issue my shitposting friend.
Is BCL ever going to sell just receivers? The 102 takes DPMS barrels, I'd like to just build my own and not have to waste cash on a shitty NEA barrel that I'm just going to yank out of the damn thing.
:DDDDDD Fuggg dats a benis
Neat
Good to know shitposts won't fuck me in the future if I need anything
So you're saying the government has the brainpower to know when people are shitposting for the lulz but they can't figure out how to properly classify firearms?
