If you could only buy one pistol for self defense

What would it be? Can’t be a wheel gun. semi-auto only. Accuracy and reliability are most important.

Heard the trigger sucks on those

You heard wrong. From someone probably crying sour grapes.

This is legally a pistol

So you’re an owner of a p30 or are you just pretending to know what you’re talking about because you watched a John wick movie

Since I'm not gonna be spending money on more handguns might as well blow it all in a wilson combat

I would never buy a semi auto for my only pistol. Never.

Every trigger sucks. There are very few universally liked triggers and the ones that are approved aren't on approved guns (1911).

>self defense
>accuracy

>pistol
>accuracy
They're all pretty much the same it just comes down to shooter skill.

Find me a gun that nobody shits on. People shit on really great guns.

Gonna go with a Glock 19.

only gun i've owned and shot so far is ruger sr9 compact it worked OK. i wuld like to have a glock g30 why or why not

Does the trigger shoot accurately? Yes = Good, no = bad. Any other criteria are just memes.

Glock 27 with a shorter grip. Then I can convert it to dillon .357

P2000

Glock 19, duh

>dirt cheap, so if confiscated as evidence i couldnt care less
>Super reliable (Not one FTF or FTE)
>Light as fuck (easy to conceal)
>Mags are cheap
>Ammo is cheap
>Pretty accurate
>With ghost trigger modification, increases accuracy
>can literally be customized and personalized for any use

Also good choices
-M&P 2.0 (any variant, super reliable, dream to shoot, damn accurate)
-Ruger LCP (Good for cucked states with mag limitations, and amazing concealability)
-Walther P99 (controversial I know, but it has an amazing trigger, super fucking accurate, very little recoil, not one FTF or FTE)

They do, but because HK designs their triggers around German Military requirements. You can overcome it with some practice, but most people (who know what they are doing) will just get a 12lb hammer spring, light trigger return spring, firing pin block spring, and maybe a new sear from HK parts. It doesn't make it crazy light or anything, it just sheds a bit of the unnecessary weight in the DA pull.

No, that would be assholes like the government, ATF, and whoever was behind the 1934 NFA and decided that should be called a pistol.

P2000 v3

I just got one. I guess it depends on the variant, the one i have (variant 3) has a very long and very heavy trigger pull. For a range gun, it kind of sucks. For a carry gun, its usable. One positive about the long and heavy trigger is how much “safer” it feels than other lighter triggers. Accidently actuating the trigger on something isnt high on my list of concerns.
The lem might feel better, i dont have any experience with it. Replacing springs and stuff might make it feel better also, but again, i dont know.

Came here to post this. USP in 45. 1911 also as runner up

You heard right. It's atrocious. Try one out in a gun store if you want a laugh. They make glocks feel like tuned 1911's.
