How to become has guns?

I’m upset and decided to bitch about it here.
I desperately want to get a gun, and I’ve asked my father several times to take me shooting, or at least allow me to get a purchasing license, but every time I ask he always replies with a queer look and asks “why do you need a gun?” “Why do you want a gun?” And so forth.
I’m over 18, so technically I could go out and do it myself, even then I’d have no place to store a gun.
Idk, what should I do, if anything?

move out and buy a gun, you’re 18 OP.

>over eighteen
>"daddy, take me shooting"

Yeesh. Maybe you shouldn't have a gun.

I live in Connecticut, it’s damn near impossible.
He’s told me to join a gun club, but that costs 600-700$ in it of itself

Get a job and move out. Then you can take your dad shooting.

So you're telling me that in Connecticut, literally everyone still lives with their parents?
Are you sure you're not just making excuses for your failure to launch? Make it happen, OP. Be a grown up. Spread your wings and fly, you fag.

I’m sorry that I have to pay for my schooling? I’m still in college m8

Then maybe your priority shouldn't be buying a gun right now? I dunno, all signs point to Manchild.

I won't sympathize with you- my mother died when I was 16- I've been taking care of myself since. I'm 33 now. I own two houses, three cars and a small online business. I have zero debt and took out zero loans to get to where I am.
It's time to start growing the fuck up and being a man and not counting on mommy and daddy. a shotgun is $200- but you need to be thinking about moving out on your own. You are a grown ass drain on your parents. You should feel bad for being a drain on them, for failing to launch and for making this cry baby blog post.
Start controlling your life right now- go get a job or a second job and get growing up. It only gets harder the longer you put it off.

In what way did I say I’m entitled? I’d like to go shooting more often, and I’d like to own a gun, in what way is that “entitlement”?

Shit man, you're where I want to be in 5 years. What business do you own? I'm planning to start a small machine shop

It's your parents house. Their rules. Move out and don't be such a fag.

>can summer be over now

"it's not fair, daddy won't let me have a gun, m8."

Do you own the house? Do you contribute anything?

Get a gun, and If your daddy says anything, point it at him and tell him now it's your house and you don't have to ask people what you should do.

You're not an adult until your balls drop and you get rid of your pussy.

Yeah you definitely shouldn't own a gun. You're still a 12 year old.

Want to know how I know you're a boomer?

>Don't live in a faggot cuck state.
>Go to store.
>Shop around
>Pick gun you like.
>Give ID and fill out 4473 ATF Form.
>Play with your tiny dick while they do the NICS background check.
>Give them money.
>Walk out with gun and dick in each hand.

KYS, fag.

I sell artwork, but not the shit kind. I'd sooner not go into details considering the website.
Best advice I can give you is work work work. After the first few years it starts to pay off big. you just gotta hold out until then.

How are you possibly being perceived as entitled, right- how unfair of me to judge you entitled. Lots of things just feel unfair don't they?
You expect something for nothing. You live with your father and get pissy when he takes away your xbox don't you? His house, his rules- respect them or move out.

If you can't afford to move out then you need to get your priorities straight. Here is a hint, guns shouldn't be at the top of the list. Just hold off for a while.

>how are you possibly being perceived as entitled?
That’s what your image said, dipshit

Okay, I already work 2 jobs and I'm looking at that business. I think I have the work part down pat. how long did it take you to pay off your 1st house? I ask because I've been looking at buying one right now.

Did you stop to reply before you even finished the sentence?

Does your dad need to hold your dick for you to go shooting? Give the poor guy some space and go shooting without him.

Man up, get out of there, and make your own way. Things don't always work out perfectly, but trying is better than nothing. I know I had my struggles. I moved out when I was 17 and I lived in a small rented house with a roommate, but he got busted moving heroin across state lines, so rent became a problem pretty fast after that. I managed to make it to the end of the lease period and used what little savings I still had to take my uncle up on a job offer in Sweden. That lasted about a year before I realized just how little I was actually able to put away after getting taxed into oblivion. I once again used what little I had in savings to get a ticket back to the US where I moved back in with my father since I had less than $100 to my name at that point. That was a little less than 2 years ago and my savings is finally back up to where I have a years rent on hand and my car paid off, so at the end of this month, I'm moving to the East coast.
It's better to try, fail, and learn than not try at all.

>gets the tough love he needs
>gets absolutely assravaged
Delicious

Go to store and buy gun. How is that so hard? Stash in room, take it shooting by going camping. It’s not hard.

Pretty much this.

Dude, I know it's not what you want to hear, but take the advice.

Leave that state once you graduate. Become a resident in a state where you don't need to become a member of a club. Then buy a gun once your shit is situated (job, etc)
