Glocks consistently work. I can buy a Glock tomorrow for less than $600 and be reasonably sure, without doing anything else to it, that I'll be able to run 2,000 hollowpoints through it with no malfunctions.

He did the smartest thing out of anyone in that convoy. Everyone else tried to use the vehicles as cover, and many of them took hits as a result. Vehicles aren't actually that good of cover, and what do you think people are firing at from a distance? Where they think people are hiding. James took lower cover and (I hope) returned fire. A coward would have run away and kept running, and a fool would have gotten tunnel vision and not seen better cover nearby.
If you're a tactical layman then yes Buck looks like a coward, if you know your shit you'd know he does too (to an extent, some of the shit he says is dumb I'll agree).

With his seating position he was the next to fucking die if he didn't get out since tge driver didn't think to move behind the other car until the end of the ambush. From there he only had a sedan to hide behind or the ditch. I'd take the ditch too. Low cover is great when your threat is firing from a distance, and they were targeting the cars so that's not a good thing to get behind.
