Pkm, also the cheapest to feed. Russians did well with making reliable small arms.

Why can't western militaries into making as good a GPMG as the PKM?

The m240 is literally the western equivalent, but it's not for poorfag militaries because it has a disintegrating belt.

Bigger question, how expensive is setting up a production line for PKM's?
I remember hearing that the main issue why american AK's are so shite, is largely cause properly setting up the production line is way harder than actually producing the guns.

HK21 could be pretty cheap. Obviously there are tradeoffs but especially if already got G3-pattern rifles.

carrying pkm is not fun I can tell you that. Skiing even less fun

Just the same. Hola brainlet.

Belt fed: "What magazine, State of California?"

>m249
Not a GPMG?

Americans dont understand how to make a light MG
its pretty pathetic tbqh

>what is muh deuce
Not a GPMG
>what is m249
Not a GPMG
>what is the piggggu
A obsolescent design that beats itself to shit.

I don't think you know what MG designations mean.

Ahem, that's belgian.

The actual americans have developed lighter weight M240, just that again americans are too stupid to adopt it.

>also the cheapest to feed.

>7.62X54R

>cheap

It's less than 2 eurocents per round here in Eastern Europe, it's cheaper than 22LR.

it's fucking shit, roller delayed is garbage for lmg role because of the extremely high bolt velocities it wears more and when the role of the gun is dumping hundreds of rounds frequently.

Probably why we buy them from belgium
Only american-developed weapons in our military are m4s and m2s

Ahem.
Wrong.

There are Remington 870's and Mossberg 500 variants in limited roles.
