Russia lacks money so much that they insert any engine they could find on their prototypes

>Russia lacks money so much that they insert any engine they could find on their prototypes
>Fly prototypes with 2 different engines

They do know that this is dangerous, right? Why not just buy a standardized engine from China? China was able to indigenously develop a superior engine from what Russia provides and has a more impressive thrust to weight ratio compared to the American one.

The state of Russian metallurgy, dear friends.

>Fly prototypes with 2 different engines
that's also what the Chinese did for prototypes. I'm pretty sure the US does this too.

Stop trolling.

This is a joke right? Indigenous engineering in China is reverse engineering theft in the rest of the world.

No proofs

Indigenous engineering in China is made from the blood, sweat and tears of Chinese Research and Development scientists. They do have some of the fastest computers in the world.

Gook shill, pls.

Gook is Korean.

Lurk moar faggot.

>Gook (/ˈɡuːk/ or /ˈɡʊk/) is a derogatory term toward East and Southeast Asians
Fuck off, gook.

Shitposting suspended, Russia is already buying French ships. Now how long until Russia swallows its pride and begins purchasing Chinese aircraft?

>begins purchasing Chinese aircraft

With what money?

Not money necessarily, but export promises and other material exchanges. It's not in any wayy unprecendented

Impressive!

>China is South East Asian

Dear Friend you need educating

>East and Southeast Asians
>East

Pepsi for subs

this is literally the normal procedure for every engine testing be it civilian or military moron

instead of trolling try at least to learn a thing of two

Political concessions. Russia is already the junior partner in their relationship.

>They do know that this is dangerous, right?

Aw petrovich daddio, the sarge he say put the engine in put the engine out, put the fucking engine in put the fucking engine out who gives a fuck. Let's drink instead.

>makes a thread thinking he is cool and shit
>shits on russia on a matter he clearly dont have even the basic skills to understand
>gets btfo

How is he shitting on Russia? Chinese engines are already superior to Russia's equivalents while at a lower price than American options. It would be nothing but wise for Russia to purchase Chinese engines at this juncture.

>Chinese engines are already superior to Russia's equivalents
No they aren't.

>talks about russia not having money to do proper testing
>doesnt know how an engine test is being done
>proceeds to make a thread hoping that he will get a 300+reply megazord

???

No, he means 2 different engines in the same aiframe at the same time

obvious paid chinkposter is obvious but not paid, at least not in any significant currency

Learn to recognize chinkbaits.

Is it summer already?

you mean like this?gee who would have knew

yeah everyone did that even the us

Calm down, iirc China works with Ukrainian and Russian engineers, all that experience from the times of the USSR has to go somewhere

hell us even did JP/biofuel tests on a live flight of a b1b

no such engineers

Russia has been cutting its military budget drastically. They literally dont have the money nor the capability to match China's research and design output, and seeing that China has made stride after stride in turbine design over the last 8 years, it behooves the Russian air force to look into purchasing engines from China.

Superb post, dear friend.

It is only right for Russians to buy Chinese engines because China has the technological know-how to build what truly is an impressive engine. China has only been truly developing the Army after the return of Hong Kong, where China has noticed the flaws on the designs on American vehicles and thus put onto China's self the divine work of righting the West's wrong and making sure technology continues towards a future where mankind is flourishing with China at the helm. Saying Chinese made technology is subpar to American vehicles that hit merchant ships is just plain bullying and does not have a part in the grand discussion of things.

why would you fall for such obvious bait

its true that china has upped their game in various scientific areas

but the next gen engines on j20 will the al 30 which you know is russian

>strawman
Why are you this insecure and butthurt? Are you an insecure Russian nationalist or what? Tell me what is it that is so controversial about Russia purchasing Chinese technologies?

>Russia lacks money

So its just another normal day. A thread died for this

bitch when russia had tech the rest of the world was sitting on the trees yet

>shitting on trees
The rest if the world isn't India

Also I think it's rather inevitable the two countries get closer in a union, I'm not saying there'd going to be another USSR bit the combined might of the two countries is going to be more alluring for both sides as time goes on.

ah indians

>combination
Many academics and think tanks all over the world have already predicted am eventual vassalisation of Russia in submission to China. Whatever partnership arises between them, Russia is certain to be the junior player

>think tanks

as if they know anything the only thing they got right about china was the speed on which they evolved their belt and road and how fast they are spreading on africa
as for the rest they are really hit and miss claiming a gazilion of things just to say "I WAS RIGHT" when ONE of those actually happen

>Russia has been cutting its military budget drastically. They literally dont have the money nor the capability to match China's research and design output
True desu.

We are already witnessing a tectonic geopolitical realignment in the east as China cements its place as the premiere player and the main pole of power in their hemisphere while Russia is continually reduced to a more regional player. Its happening as we speak

ROFLMAO

technically speaking russia is a regional player to the whole northern hemisphere

but i doubt russia will devolve into that state at all
especially given the fact that eu is starting to take serious steps to bring both eu and russia close
but at least managed something that ussr couldnt do for 50 years they got a port on the med sea and on a very strategic point

This is fucking hilarious. We have vatniks, fatniks, and chinks all shitposting in a 3 way battle royale on Jow Forums every day. May as well be a sitcom.

>They even put engines of the different type.

Attached: lksjdfuf93030.jpg (700x471, 74K)

if Jow Forums ever use flairs we will probably see
americans pretending to be vatniks
vatniks pretending to be chinks
chinks being chinks
eastern eurofags being drunk and shitposting about russia whores or whatever
western eurofags being busy and not posting at all

This.

Russia will be an important link between Europe and the east in general

Internet experts have already said that the J-20 has far more advanced design and technology than both the PAK-FA and the F-22. Why not just ride the coat tails of the J-20? It will take the PAK-FA further than on its own.

Just going off wikipedia stats, if, for the sake of argument, the sources are trustworthy, then this how things line up at the moment:

The Su-57 has already been flying with the 117, producing 21,000lbf (dry), compared to the variant of the WS-10 on the J-20, which produces 19,500lbf (dry). Afterburner thrust comparisons are similar in ratio.

By now the Su-57 has been demonstrated flying with the new izdeliye 30, producing 24,054lbf (dry), while we haven't seen any evidence of the WS-15 being flown yet, for which there is very little information I could find, even definitive numbers on dry thrust, only projected goals.

It seems like the Chinese are catching up, but Russian engine technology is still slightly ahead, at least in terms development and testing. How long that will remain to be the case is anyone's guess.

And I should note, neither of the Russian or Chinese engines match up to the American counterparts yet.

>yet

The Chinese super engine has been worked on by a development team that has only 1/3 the history of the American team. Give it 5 years and it will surpass whatever engine the Americans try to develop.

Hangook means Korea in Korean. Gook = Korean. Zipperhead = generic Asian.

the thrust to weight is comparable so...

>Hangook means Korea in Korean
I thought that was Choseon?

South says Hanguk, north says Choseon.

Russia has no reason to purchase foreign engines when their domestic products are better.

>Hangook means Korea in Korean
No one cares what it means in Korean. Gooks are East and Southeast Asians.

Chink posters get more and more retarded each day.

>You're wrong even if you base it on facts!

You on the other hand appeal to the hurt feelings of someone who might happen to know some random gook language. Too bad no one gives a fuck.

>Put two prototype engines on the plane

This is how prototypes are tested, pic related, Ching chong

>It's not just a phase, mom!

It is like this: America is in an dragster race car and had a 1 hour head start. Russia is in a Lada and driving in reverse. China is the ricer who puts trashy bodykits, flame stickers and gaudy spoilers on the Lada but at least the car is driven forward.

>>Russia lacks money so much that they insert any engine they could find on their prototypes
They don't lack money. They have a surplus now. Oil is sky-high.
>>Fly prototypes with 2 different engines
See, they have two different prototypes. So that nullifies your previous statement.

>They do know that this is dangerous, right? Why not just buy a standardized engine from China?
You're a shithead. CONFIRMED. Chinks can't make a good engine to save their lives. They buy engines from Russians.

Gook is the name of the hats used by Vietnamese farmers. It turned into a derogatory term for Vietnamese.
