I see them in 3 gun all the time, it comes down to preference again. Skeet competitions don't typically allow pistol grips, so that's just competition rules.

Most people can throw rocks accurately at 10 meters. I found some trash at the part of the desert I like to go shooting and did this at ~70 yards. Once you know where to hold, a slug is going to shoot surprisingly straight every time. It's hard to fuck up with the bead sight and a little Kentucky windage.

I really need some advice in buying my first shotgun. Prepping for potential civil war and honestly things like semi-auto rifles and even decent 9mm pistols are way to expensive on this side of the world.
I am looking at something like a Uzkon 12ga AS16 or a Mod. AS12. I have also seen a Benelli Nova pump and some Mossberg Mavericks for a decent price but testing anything is very limited and I don't want to waste money.
Pump actions or even magazine is preferable. Budget is tight as always because licensing the thing is also a pain in the absolute ass.

I want an objective answer to the question of which is better, 12 or 20 gauge. For geese or great bears, the 1.5 oz capacity of 12 is beneficial. 12 gauge can also hold the superior 00 buckshot. However, considering 1 oz slugs, 20 gauge has (729/615)^2=141% better sectional density, making it the better musket - faint praise. Is there anything I'm missing, something the 20 gauge shell can do better, ceteris paribus?

A 20 gauge is better for pest control and picking off small game, but you can do the exact same with a 12 gauge. Can even use low recoil rounds if you want, since you don't need a full powered #4 buckshot to kill rabbits, rats, or pigeons. You can also use a 20 gauge for waterfowl and other birds if you don't want to use a 12 gauge.
I'd say if you had nothing, get a 12 gauge, since it has a wide range of medium game applications from hogs to deer, and can slug out elk, moose, and even grizzly bears as a form of self defense if you can't scare them off or if bear mace isn't an option for some stupid reason. Alaska department of wildlife suggests you carry a 12 gauge or larger shotgun as part of self defense against wildlife, but scaring them off is always the best option.

I have a Shockwave. Paired it up with a red dot + laser. If you're getting a rail, make sure to get the official Mossberg one. All others are pieces of shit with pot metal screws that will strip the holes.
The last bit I need is the SB Tactical brace, but its OOS almost everywhere.
Also, think about picking up the OPSol adapter to let you cycle mini-shells. They're fun as hell and have almost no recoil for the slugs and buck. Don't get it on Amazon, as they are knock-off ones now which are shit quality.
