I love those uniforms and I don't care who knows it
Getting rid of them was a mistake.

Its a sea of men.

Really? WTF needs blue camo? Are you hiding from Marines at sea?
Navy should go back to the dungaree's or a uniform that will b visible when they fall overboard. Prison orange comes to mind
Why the fuck am I able to spot discrepancies in this picture? This would never been able to fly in the Marine Corps.
another one with pleb tastes
too bad
Anyone at sea, so they blend in when they fall in. Easy Darwin. Cant save what you cant see.
They should probably just wear solid gray to blend with the ship and also look classy (no one's uniform is a solid color, it's always scattery trash). Then also maybe have an orange liner in case they go overboard.
The blue color is to hide the grey and blue paint that the navy uses for its ships, which is often fresh.
I liked them too. The sailors at MEPS actually looked cool. I definitely don't think they should be stealing the Army's OCP.
Meh, I see them whenever I go to Popeye's for lunch. Gets annoying.
It's for conducting underwater boarding operations. The pirates won't see them swimming in those.
we don't wear this underway, only in port,
Served '08-'12 on the Peleliu, Dubuque, some others I transferred between after some genius lost my gear. Squids were definitely wearing them.
its pretty crazy seeing navy wearing everything.
-airfroce tigerstripe
-woodland
-their new land digital
-ocp
saw some airforce dudes wearing ocp too
This
Navy enlisted reporting in and we have so many uniforms
I wear coveralls
The greatest sin the blueberries every did was making it so we could no longer wear coveralls everyone on most bases (except medical/dental). It is the direct reason why they were changed to organizational clothing.
former navy here. NWU's were the worst uniform ever conceived by man. Retained heat in the summer and bled warmth in the winter. Let's not even get into the retarded logic of blue camouflage. The new guacamole's will look better for standardization and the like, and from what i hear are better fits.
>implying you wear camo when haze grey
fuck off
Don't forget that if they got wet, they stayed wet ALL day.
that too. I got out as an AM2, I still have a pair of Ndub pants that got ruined by too much hyd fluid and looked like ass afterwards...no amount of washing would get the stains out. Now I use them for my car along with my non fire retardant coveralls that the fleet banned
Well they are better than the DCUs in that regard. Remember walking around in multiple places with black pants thanks to oil baths/general grime while waiting on laundry days.
Overall the Gaucs are just better. Don't breath as well as the Deserts, but they are a close second.
>Remember walking around in multiple places with black pants thanks to oil baths/general grime while waiting on laundry days
so much shame. I always envied the O's and their fresh uniforms that smelled of soap
