That depends. If you have to hit a switch or button to activate it, it'll slow you down. If it's one of those grip activated deals, it probably will help.

it's irrelevant what kind of platform you put it on,
if anything a laser will help LESS on a rifle due to the inherent inaccuracy of handguns compared to longarms. and literally the only thing IR has going for it is that it can't be seen unless your opponent has NODs, other than that they're functionally identical in use.

literally the entire point of issuing an/peqs is that it's damn near impossible to get a traditional cheek weld in armor and with NVGs, so troops could extend their engagement range when using such equipment. the other stuff like signalling and marking targets is just a nice bonus, and you can 100% do that shit with a visible laser as well, IR just gives you an element of stealth in doing so if your opponent lacks NODs.

Who is that. Also I'd recommend a kahr cm9 or pm9 same size as a LCP but heavier, shoots 9mm instead of 380

They're fucking great and it's fucking great. Nothing beats the ease or comfort of an LCP or LCR inna pocket as far as carry is concerned. Plus the LCP doesn't way down my pajamas. Having your hands in your pockets is also pretty socially acceptable and fairly conducive towards drawing in a surreptitious manner. Most defensive encounters involve some amount of pre-attack indicators, and while drawing your glock because you think some guy is following you in the parking lot is typically a felony putting your hand in your pants or jacket pocket certainly isn't. No IWB draw is going to be as fast as a revolver that's already in your hand, concealed in your jacket pocket.
Im a pretty big fan. Very shootable for it's size and fairly reliable. Only real downside in terms of a pocket gun is that it can't be fired multiple times from within a pocket.
Calm down guys, lasers are certainly no substitute for skill but they can certainly be useful in some limited circumstances such as confirming POA at a moderate distance or under adverse lighting conditions.
