It's not a popular opinion here or other gun forums, most say it is obsolete or that it's capacity and reliability makes it a poor choice for defensive reasons. I can see having problems with the capacity, and the reliability depends on the manufacturer. I wouldn't ever concealed carry one (too heavy) but I wouldn't have any problems using one as a nightstand gun or owb carry. I just like them a lot.
Airsoft is fun and you should try it. No reason you can't enjoy real guns and airsoft.
Yeah, I was thinking about getting some mid priced m4 and a real rig because why not, then I could use it with my real rifle anyway. I wish there was more emphasis on milsim and gas blowback rifles though, something bothers me about having 300 rounds in an m4 mag and everyone spraying and praying
I agree completely on about the huge capacity mags. There are plenty of milsim events with limits to midcaps, which still have closer to 100 BBs. With how inaccurate airsoft guns are that not bad though

Meet my 1-hole shooting friend, the S&W Model 41 in .22
It has a better trigger than the Kart Sporting Arms custom 1911 that was given to me by my grandfather, which had the best handgun trigger I've ever shot till the 41
I've never seen this odd looking gun before. I'd love to give it a try though, maybe it'd change my mind
