It seems excessively long.
That's deffo shot with high-speed cameras, probably to study fireball propogation. But I'm also seeing structure within that nominal fireball, so I'm not sure how much of the sphere that we see is the actual fireball after the initial blast and how much is rigging the camera to capture the entire cycle from fireball to mushroom cloud.
I don't know enough about nuclear testing and photography, desu.
He still posts in nuke threads on occasion.
The second one Operation Teapot, is that a jet of plasma shooting out of the fire ball bottom left 0:10?
Rope Effect.
The fireball vaporizes the guy wires holding up the shot tower faster than it propogates in the atomsphere, on account of the perculiarities of thermodynamics. This leads to this peculiar phenomenan in tower shots.
He’s not gone. Just less bored.
>t. He responded to me in a thread recently
I wish they did just one test for old times sake in 2018 and recorded it in 8k and shit
I wish the US exploded one nuke every 4th of July in some remote place in the Pacific.

Unless of course you want to celebrate your independence by blowing up a piece of your country.
Me too.
I felt cool.
