>chink students guess professor's password in order to cheat
>oy vey it's "hacking"!

ok
天安門廣場

Yes, that is the definition of hacking.

This is clearly Jow Forums related.

Go back to Jow Forums you mouth breathing faggot.

Chink shills get out

Yeah, no. If you've seen the level these guys go to cheat you'd know that this is way out of their league effort wise. It's a couple of hundred dollars of Daddy's money to pay another chink to write the assignment, and he doesn't even meet the pass requirements. Getting stuck in group assignment with these fuckers is a guaranteed fail, unless you're willing to also do their work as well.

Cyber warfare is Jow Forums related. Fastest growing sector in the Defence Industry

Fuck off Chang

I'm sure its just some students that have managed to evade our intelligence agencies for months and still have access to the system

>guys at /PFG/ discord unironically think this is of no concern

Why do your intellegence agencies suck so bad?

Academic IT is fuck, I was associated with a research lab and our "server" was a repurposed desktop machine running an outdated version of debian linux on a desk, with a public facing IP. I took over maintaining it because the last guy to do it left two years previous.

If you compromised something like that it wouldn't be hard to compromise a professor's personal machine and SUCC all the passwords out of their firefox profile or something.

>Why do your intellegence agencies suck so bad?
they unironically have 50:50 gender diversity rules

This is what happens when a country bans maths, cryptography stops working.

Australia has things like the Australian Signals Directorate (part of the dept. of defence) and the Australian Cyber Security Centre, who are legit good and competent.

The thing is, universities are private businesses and thus not under the umbrella of protection the same way government, defence industry, etc. are protected.

>The thing is, universities are private businesses and thus not under the umbrella of protection the same way government, defence industry, etc. are protected.
Not in Australia, and definitely not with the ANU. The ANU actually has very close ties to defence, and they host defence coursework and a school dedicated to security studies.

understaffed in terms of the threat they face

ANU Cheeky breeky

How come so many ANU academics are so vehemently sympathetic to china then?

Chinese students are Australian universities' cash cows, and China donates money to ANU.

>Cyber warfare
Jow Forums is a weapons board, not a warfare board

you can use your computer to hurt someone more than any bullet could
