>14x AIM120
So the pilot can just spam missiles and play angry birds? Seems pretty good

>Beast Mode
Impressive, but I can't take that seriously

>14x AIM120

Holy shit

Attached: aim120_2.jpg (713x561, 37K)

But it is fitting.
Those are a lot of missiles.

Like, what do you even do if you're a potential adversary? A squadron of 35s has more tech than you're entire air force, then this shows up. While still maintaining a reduced RCS.

You make an assblasted article on RT about how your totally coming out seen super jet will beat it in every way

Launch the ICBMs

The J-20 can carry more superior weapons with better range. Only 22000 lbs is not impressive.

We live in the age of the missile spam, it seems.

For when you just need to go full fucking Macross on some comminist

>14x AIM120
When one F-35 can shot down all the SU-57 Russia will have.

>14 AIM120s

I would ask why, but I know the real question is why not.

Reminder that the F-35 carries the weight of an F-16 in fuel internally.

Only $300K a shot! Those 12 cost even more than 6 AIM-54s

Attached: F-14-with-6-Phoenix-missiles.jpg (960x768, 138K)

Oh shit, it was 14, not 12.

Yeah
But
The AIM-54 was shit

It never got a shot at a Bear, which is literally what it was designed to kill. Of course quick fighters could outmaneuver a goddamn telephone pole...

How many times have you posted this thread?

The F-35 is a light fighter.

but in beastmode does it play "I am a real american" and "america fuck yeah!" on loop over all radio channels? you know, as a denial weapon for radio contact for the sputtering vatnikmobiles it'll be facing

Because thats what plays in my head as a red blooded american when I think of the fact we're building more of these than we currently have F16s, F18's and F22s combined and we'll still have those in reserve come total war.

Damn it feels good to be an american

I hope they start flying them at airshows in mass formations because we're going to have a fuckton of them. Like the entire rest of the worlds 4th gen aircraft reserve times 3, and 5th gen. Plus upgraded F22s. Plus the metric fuckton of serviceable F16s and F18s that will probably make the US national guard the worlds 3rd largest airforce.

You try to engage on your terms away from AWACS coverage.

>oh fook
>explosion
>sounds of laughing american in a F-18 or F35c heard in the distance

God fucking damn that's a lot of AMRAMMs....

Impressive. In one swift move pasta pasta 14 fucking AIM120s blowing chinks outta the sky.

What about stealth weapons pods?

And that's just the airplane bit.
We still have an absolute shitton of warships, subs, metal boxes with big guns, and shooty shooty bang bang dudes .

Attached: american burger manga.png (1073x1523, 570K)

Dude that's a flight or section . A wing would be two fighter squadrons of 24 totalling 672 AMRAAMs.

>672 AMRAAM's
Hot damn

Aaaaaaaand the US is bankrupt seconds after launch.

>bankrupt
>when the bank trades in USD
get outplayed, jews

Mayonnaise is legit great with fries. I would also recommend kebab sauce.

It has almost twice the combat radius of the Super Hornet, and can hold 16 fucking missiles when fully loaded.

Yea, pretty sure the F-35 is capable.

It's like you slack-jawed faggots haven't heard about the

>t. ching chong from ding dong

>all those missiles with all those networked AN/APG-81s
>before you factor in the flight of F-22s that will be obligatory, also networked
Yeah no it's over we win.

Dude this completely obsoletes it.

If this is pre full scale production, then by 2025 it'll be 16.

Not likely.

>twice the combat radius of the SuperHornet
So, barely sufficient?

>So, barely sufficient?

That's what my mom said about your penis.

wut

So you don't know what you're talking about?

I mean, that's more than the Eurofighters as well, how is that barely sufficient?

It's more than literally everything, and the fucking thing doesn't even bother having drop tanks. As time goes on I'm more and more convinced that the F-35 is the godmachine.

btw it can cruise at mach 1.2 for 150 miles too

go away lockmart shills

Go to bed dad.

I'm sorry, I can't hear you over how wrong you've been for the past few years.

I bet that stings, maybe you can go read a Sputnik news or Defense Update post about how the Su-35 can beat alien UFOs.

>best sensors in the world (that aren't in a dedicated AEW platform)
>stealthy as fugg
>about as manuevrable as the Viper
>beastly engine

>avionics software written from teh ground up to be updateable without retaining a bunch of greybeards from the 90's permamently like the Raptor
>avionics software itself makes the F-35 as easy to fly as a videogame

Does this kill the A-10?

Attached: 143626743369.jpg (1360x768, 141K)

>exposed fan blades

No, it just makes the A-10 even worse.

That's a retarded idea, which is why its stuck in a videogame.

okay lol. let's see how things go as soon as the 35 loses an engine. oh wait, it only has one so when it loses it's ENGINE what'll happen next? good thing that'll never happen in combat right? at least it has a gun to defend itself from dogfights...oh wait. yeah let's take half a century of proven naval aviation concepts and say "ehh, who cares?"

I meant does the "beast f-35" replace the A-10?

More good news.

flightglobal.com/news/articles/usaf-starts-work-on-defining-adaptive-engine-for-fut-450053/

Oh yeah, there has never been a successful single engine fighter ever in the history of aviation.
Also the F-35A has an internal gun.

Attached: MiG-21M.png (1986x3993, 736K)

Yes.

>pic unrelated

also, more lockmart mental gymnastics. give the airframe that's already heavy as hell due to a nonsense requirement for VTOL extra weight. genius guys. might as well find a spot on the shelf for that collier trophy eh?

Literally everything you said shows to everyone here you literally have no idea what you're talking about.

1, many aircraft, including the F-16 and Gripen have single engines, and while they obviously do have some problems, the problems weren't clearly enough to stop either of them from being successfully, especially the F-16.

So unless the F-16 is a complete failure, you cannot seriously argue that the F-35 being a single engine aircraft makes it bad.

Secondly, the F-35 is armed with the GAU-22/A 25mm Gatling gun, a gun more impressive than the Vulcun 20mm as seen aircraft like the F-16, 15, 22, 14, and 18. Saying that the F-35 doesn't have a gun is absolute all the proof anyone needs to dismiss anything you say further.

>the MiG-21 isn't a successful single engine combat aircraft
Wow, you're pretty dumb.

Attached: f-16-3.png (4000x2615, 123K)

Needing two engines is literally Sprey-tier aviation fuddlore. The F-16 if the most successful warbird of all time, the fact it is single engine hasn't hurt it in any way whatsoever. You are grasping at straws.

Reminder that we have the technology

Attached: ADFX-02_(AAW).jpg (2035x3260, 337K)

You're right, no other aircraft has used a single engine and had been successful.

Attached: A Failure.jpg (625x325, 22K)

Don't tell the Chinese the J-10s single engine makes it automatically bad.

Attached: More failure.jpg (1600x1063, 103K)

Gripens are known to be awful because of their engines, silly Americans.

Attached: Waste of time.jpg (2048x904, 134K)

Is that the Gripen E? What a beauty.

god bless Belka

>I feel pride that my hard earned money is being spent recklessly by pen pushers and lobbyists
Americans are weird

wow, good thing you posted a picture of a naval aircraft, which was the point of my post entirely. The F-16 isn't going to get a flameout while doing a dogleg around the boat before coming in for a directed crash onto a moving airfield. Speaking of that, imagine all that weight being carried back by the F-35 as it's about to land on the boat, and the engine not responding? they're fucked.

I dunno man, I heard the A-10 can take a direct hit from not one but two tactical nuclear weapons, lose both its wings and engines, but still use its BRRRRTs to fly in reverse and make a perfect landing nose gear only landing.

Belka a shit

Attached: hsgs4702main-lg.jpg (1000x598, 107K)

The Navy seemed to do just fine with the Crusader.

Attached: f8u formation.jpg (1200x975, 207K)

Well it's a good thing that your post isn't correct, just like when you originally thought the F-35 doesn't have a gun, the F-35 has been doing carrier operations tests for some time now, here's a video youtube.com/watch?v=aBP1wU6lHE4

This is the third attempt you've made to prove the F-35 is bad, and this is the third time you've been easily proven wrong.

I bet you think it's amazing kill to death ratio at Red Flag doesn't count either.

I think it's because the most he's ever done research on aircraft is video games and Pierre Spray memes.

I actually used to be in the Navy, and fixed aircraft. I was deployed on carriers, i know how things are. I met people who worked on the 35, and they pointed out things that didn't make sense about it from a practical standpoint. it's ok guys, if you keep believing what the government tells you then nothing will be wrong.

How about some proofs, bucko

>and they pointed out things that didn't make sense about it from a practical standpoint
like what?
