repost for posterity:

Interesting. Only reverse search that turned up a hit on the clear web was a single posting on S&W forum, presumably where you found it.

Did a bit more digging and found a bit more info.

A good website, but completely filled with facklerites and cultish deference to GKR who is an active poster there.

What .45 ammo would you guys recommend that is brass cased, decent quality, and is priced well enough i wouldn’t worry about blowing through mags?
Also if i’m going to go through a large volume of .45 should i start thinking about reloading?

What's a good entry level 1911 that has a rail for mounting a light?

>should i think about reloading

its not cheap to start out, infact to start out, it would cost the same amount as if you bough 1000 rounds, you probably dont have the patience for it, and you wont actually save money. i got all my NEW equipment free as a gift, and i really only saved maybe 60$ per 1000 rounds, it takes a while to reload those, so desu my time is worth way more than that, and what off time i have isnt worth sitting there reloading.

unless its something rare, or expensive, reloading isnt worth it to most.

I think I paid $300

Go to weight watchers fat ass

Springfield’s politics aside, they make a great railed 1911. Maybe find a used one but make sure a kitchen table gunsmith hasn’t polished the feed ramp and other unnecessary fuckery.

For 38529688

I gotcha, i just got a vector and was worried about running into the same problem i did with my vepr where i want to shoot slugs and expensive hot ammo and it goes fast.

As said, not cheap to start, but I can load 45 lswc for like 120.00/1000.

Using a Dillon 650 I can load about 500 per hour at a leisurely pace. Tumble brass one day a month to catch up and it really doesn’t take that much time.

You’ll spend some time learning and dialing in your does, then you just load.

I'm literally trying to take a shit right now.

$300 with checkering, an S&A-style magwell, rail, adjustable sights, front serrations, ambi safety, extended beavertail, extended slide stop and """"""""""wood"""""""""" grips is pretty phenominal. You've really got my value pickle vibrating here.

You know he can't

Where did you fuckers find your USP match triggers? How long did it take? I ordered one from eurooptic December of last year. I called them today and was informed that their last shipment was in fucking mid 2016. Has the American aftermarket been forsaken by the unompromising Hateful Kraut? Are we here just to suffer?

Anyone manage to get a red river tactical holster recently? I ordered one 3 months ago and still haven't heard anything.

And the trigger is phenomenal, among the best I've ever shot.

It's an American Tactical Thunderbolt btw, retail is like $600 but I always browse local pawn shops and found it at $350 and haggled down to $300. I'm disgusted by what they probably paid with how easy it was to get them down that far. I'd have gladly paid $400

Got a Gen4 19 for EDC. Are there any HGG approved mods or should I just keep it stock?

What's the brand?

...

Thanks chief, I'm retarded.

ITS NOT COMING HOME LADS

Good. Fucking redcoats

Aftermarket sights are the big one for glocks. the factory plastic ones are shit. A WML or thyrm compatible light is objectively a pretty great addition so that you don't have to use a one handed firing stance. Other than that it's all preference, im not a huge fan of fiddling with carry guns too much, a minus trigger connector might be worthwhile if you really want a lighter trigger pull but i wouldn't bother with the aftermarket kits/replacements. The current hot mods are compensators and slide mounted RMRs, while they're nice they're hardly necessary and a lot of folks kinda scoff at them for one reason or another.

you are a nigger

Get the 2.0 and lightly sand the grip if it is too abrasive, or get something that is a DAO or LEM trigger.

But user those were made in the US.

VP9 trigger is a bit heavier with a really hard, distinct wall, maybe check that out. It has a milder grip texture too, but the SK might be too small and the full size might be too big. Or do like user says and lightly sand the M2.0. Or even find a used old M&P and put an Apex duty trigger kit innit so it's not shit.

bretty good user
like the other guy said, put the wood grips back on
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the 97 after shooting it

Well, that's below market price and 97s are only gonna get more expensive.
Best you can come up with? cz haters are the most basic brand haters out there.

I’ll give you a (You) for that autism

It's a good price, but its shit quality when it comes to design.
CZ leaves guns half finished on the drawing board and it shows when they make them.

what CZ models are "half-finished" to you?

Working hard for your crops today I see

Got my trigger parts in and installed the match hammer spring and TRS.

Got a X300B on the way that I found for cheap. Should I cancel my non light bearing holster and order a light bearing one now?

Attached: 20180707_154013.jpg (2462x2023, 3.24M)

This beauty.

Attached: 15z_CZ75BHighPolishStainless_L_91108_01108.png (1920x1401, 604K)

Nope. CZs are fine, only things you have to look out for are TRSs and slide release. both of which are easy to monitor and take forever to go.

You can get subcompact grips.

Sights ought to be in tomorrow, also. Couple of Jet funnels and a Surefire on Friday, and a gun show followed by a shooting trip on Sunday

Attached: 20180711_174533.jpg (4032x3024, 3.06M)

So back when I had bought my USPs, I bought them used. The guy who had the compact had put adjustable nights on them, and the guy who owned the USPT took adjustables off and put on basic ass night sights. I'm going to have to straighten this out, is it possible to just straight swap out these sight with each other?

Attached: 20180531_123840-1.jpg (2717x1840, 2.72M)

In the last 7 months, have you spent more money on purchasing guns and gun accessories, or on ammo?

Ammo for sure

Accessories nudging out ammo by a few hundred dollars. Spent a few grand on both this year.

Guns but I’m pretty much done with that unless I can get a nice model 19.

Put the wood back on please. Quickly.

9k rounds on my slide stop. My trs would still be going strong if i hadn't cajunized it at 8250. Recoil spring is just now softening up.

Guns and accessories, but only because the last few months I've been suckered into buying a bunch of shit on sale. Once I get this USP done, the only things I need (lol) are a couple cans. Then it'll all be ammo and possibly sending a couple things in for warranty work/repairs.

What's your favorite handgun to shoot, HG? Not necessarily the most accurate, the most expensive or the most practical, but the one that's the most fun.

Star Megastar 45
Mine is in terrible condition, and it's an ugly hamplanet of a gun. Shoots great though.

Jetfire

X300 is looong
I wouldn’t, draw time and concealability will suffer

You're trying to hard. Wanna party some time?

Bart, are you alright? Should I call an ambulance?

Nice, just did a full detail strip of my frame, right down to nothing attached. Much easier than I had expected.

Well, up and till last week, ammo, but then two new pistols arrived.

>HG
I mean, how hard is it to look at the OP post before you click on the thread, and see that it is /hg/?
P30L. I'm accurate with it, and hitting well makes me happy.

Goddamn, the cleaning solution is getting to me.

Too, not to.

I borrowed my friend's Gen4 G19 for a week to see how I like it. Have to clean it up gud tonight before I return it tomorrow. I like everything except the rotten finger grooves. Fucking annoying. I'll definitely try to pursue a Gen5

More importantly my stepmom liked it so now I know what to help her look for in terms of a carry gun.

Light is mine, I just put it on there for shits.

Attached: G19RM1.jpg (769x743, 146K)

Gen 5 is a step down.

>Gen 5 is a step down.

How so?

I dont even know where to start. Almost all the features besides the finish and flared magwell are all recycled features from older generations.

Are the / things important when asking a general question? I understand using them if you are making the thread, but I think everyone knew that I was asking a general question. Didn't mean to activate anybody's almonds, my bad.

Really considering a P30L right now. It's between that, an SP01, a p99, p2000, usp and a tanfoglio in 10mm. Just want a fun to shoot full-size handgun, and have a little bit more to spend than usual.

Attached: witness-hunter-2.jpg (600x600, 248K)

Jesus christ, is that the best you can do?

I've now had the experience of shooting Gen 2 G17, a Gen 3 G22, this Gen 4 G19 and I've hand my hands on a Gen 5 G19. So far I like the Gen5 the most, but I could work a Gen4 and dremel off the faggot grooves like everyone else.

I'm just in a bit of a dour mood, so please excuse my bitchiness. The P30L is fantastic, I love mine, easily my favorite handgat that I've ever owned. If you want one, go for the V1 LEM trigger, really goes with the gun like peanut butter and chocolate. I like my USP also, but the ergos of the P30 series are what keep me so ecstatic.

Aight fuck it then and I will just stick with my fucking 92FS and set fire to ever Glock I ever see.

PX4.

So light, so smooth, so soft shooting, so cheap. I crie every time.

shut the fuck up you stupid fucking tripfag nigger

Fuck, that is a toss-up between my FNX45 and my TTC. One is clunky and kind of unbalanced but it's got 16+1 capacity of fucking .45 Ass-Cappin-Powa. The Tok is just plain fun because it's old, classy, and single stack mags are fast to refill.
