just buy a kbar
is it the best knife?
no
does it meet all of your retarded criteria?
yes and it will probably satisfy you 100%

if your classifications for a blade means a piece of metal thats sharp, I think an obresz would do you nicely

Cold Steel GI Tanto. 25-30$.
>pic
Mines paracorded, the original grip sucks balls.

I have a recommendation:
>don't use a knife for self defense

well should I carry a fucking cutlass than
(I have one btw)

isn't being good at fighting the first requirement

Yes.
Are you in Texas?

im in AZ

Close enough.
You should probably wear the rest of the pirate costume, too.

Yeah good for fighting
Kinda like the difference between defending yourself with a kabar vs a swiss army knife
And OP you shouldn't walk around with a fixed blade, doesn't look good in court.
Aim for utility with enough room to be used effectively for sd

Smith and Wesson HRT is a good value.

>doesn't look good in court.
He said he lives in Arizona, not England.

yea we have an open carry sword and machete law so length doesnt matter

Just saying it looks better defending yourself with a folder vs some high speed tacticool Rambo blade

yeah i recommend you don't use a knife for self-defense

checked
defending yourself in court is for people who aren't guilty
op is very clearly a maniac wanting to hack people up with knives than just shooting at them and taking care of the problem

op here, I just want a knife to defend myself like god damn i aint no maniac im just a proud american

I carry the Ka-bar TDI. It'll do everything you need it to protection wise.

Also it clips right on the belt, conceals nicely/comfortably, and is

The angle means you can't stab with it without tilting your wrist at a shit angle and risking breaking it.
If you think knife fighting means swinging a knife around and trying to slash your target rather than just repeatedly stabbing them in the abdomen then you deserve to carry that knife and try using it.

Knife self-defence is a meme. It was an actual thing back in 18th century, but not today.
So, get a utility knife that is comfortable for you. I prefer Mora Classic 2, since it's relatively small, with a 4 inch blade, carbon steel is nice. Only thing that sucks is the sheath. This plastic shit is placed too high on the belt for my taste, had to make a freer loop with the shoelace.
Also, handguards are not needed. If you know how to hold a knife, of course. Finns and other nations used to stab each other with guardless knives for centuries.

This grip will hinder your ability to stab if you have to cut through more than fat or shallow muscle.

You stab in a punching motion so your wrist doesnt have to be at an awkward angle like a straight blade, retard.

I carry a few fixed blades depending on what I feel like.

Boker Burnley striker
Buck knighthawk,
Buck 199
Tops ranger's edge
Tops Tanimboca Puukko

Usually the Puuko, as I love the blade profile and size.

Ontario SP fixed blade series or the cold steel leatherneck series.
Moras aren't ideal because nothing to really keep your hand from sliding up. Knife fighting being shit is a forced meme on this board, knives are fine if you dont have access to a gun.
