>80k
>good for armed security work
Motherfucker triple canopy is offering 130k starting for anybody with a vague idea of how to hold a rifle. Wanna know why you're getting spearfished? Your wages suck.

what are we, the fuckin clergy? Johnny Cash?

>he thinks you can just show up and work for TC or any other PMC the way you can for fuckin Armed Paul Blart gigs

Holy shit youre retarded, no. Lol. Youre not gonna get hired by Le Ebin Blackwater fo5 130k a year after 3.5 years as a fucking Specialist in an army chow hall or whatever, with no deployments.

Without a combat MOS and at least a year in country, the best you can hope for some similar 60-80k shit guarding a chowhall in Kabul, with shit as fuck shifts and deployment cycles.

I loved this copypasta

You have no idea what you are talking about.
>triple can hires elite ex military
>Contracts are all overseas

My place
>stateside in MD
>take those that can qual

>Location: Baltimore
dropped

trips of truth

Columbia. Not bmore, just listed as that

Also a VERY secluded location, so no trouble

Looking to staff ASAP if you apply today you could be training by the 23rd of this month.

Near baltimore, not in. Downside is that its boring. All my coworkers are cool tho

>I wouldn't worry bout it

>Columbia
Fort Meade security guard?
>Website © 2009
Update your site ffs

Goddamned wild horses couldn't drag me back to the nigger, marxist, opiod ravaged, humid filth I ascended from getting out of there. 'Battle Queen of Yore' be damned I ain't agoin back

We are nondescript

That area, but not Meade

>all black uniformed armed security
>in an area with a significant concentration of NSA types
>nondescript
Hiring armed guards on Jow Forums is going to become a meme.

I didn't even meet all their listed requirements for pss and I got an offer letter 4 hours after applying.
You're overestimating how stringent the hiring reqs are.

What ya search for to find these jobs?

Curious for some weekend work or career change as network technician

Google constellis. They do a lot of DoS contracting, I wouldn't be surprised if they need a geek to unfuck something. You don't even need a extant clearance, they run a DoS clearance for you.

Thanks. Checking it out

I dropped out of college and am a neet only experience is 2 years of food service, will you hire me?

Ifcyou pass the PT test and interveiw well with the site manager...maybe. make sure in your resume you articulate knowing how to handle a pistol

Makes no mention of knowing how to handle a firearm with Jow Forums having lots of noguns. Coaches them to pretty much say they are safe with firearm with not proof. Yeah, that is the person I want handling a firearm.

Yeah the announcement doesnt really paint a good picture of it.

The training for it weeds a lot of people out. The process goes like this

>PT
>int
>Range day with manager
>hired
>sent to training

If you are unsafe at any of the ranges you are out, end of story. The manager and trainers will prep you for qual, but if you fail twice you are out. Its a higher standard than I am making it out to be, but if you are fit and a basic understanding of gun safety we can train you to pass the range

That sounds better, good save.

There is a lot I am not covering. But bottom line:
I am getting killed with overtime and we have no new hire scheduled to start training.
When we are fully staffed the job is cake and I still pull in $4,000 a month after taxes (+/-).
In the summer our National Guard and Reservists take off for a few weeks and we get hit with OT, during the recertification (2X a year) we have half the contract training so we get hit with more OT. When fully staffed this adds up to the $80k a year.
When (like now) we need people, we are clocking 60+hours a week and while I am going to make a little over $5,000 this month (net) I have zero time off.

The training is fun, lots of shooting, some punching, kicking and grab assery but over all pretty good.
Downside the rest of the time you are bored out of your mind.
The 401K os pretty good.
Medical and Dental suck.
7Days sick leave
2Weeks (80hrs) of paid leave (more after 5years)

Also i want to stress, we are OCD when it comes to safety. We carry a round in the chamber and my site has never had an ND at it or the range (1 total on contract EVER)

Know anything about the other locations?

>Getting an offer is the same as getting hired

Someone doesnt know how the real world works. Hows them tendies taste?

Only the other CIFSO sites. We are all the same. Outside of the program I know nothing

>this thread

Who in Human Resources/ Recruitment thought this was a good idea?

Attached: Capture.png (488x469, 150K)

Aw sweet. I will look into a CIFSO site in my location then.

HR is not involved.....hence the OT I am talking about. I am just an officer, but at this point even the manager is sweating
Where are you from?

Dallas / North Texas

The TX site has the lowest turnover rate. Good luck getting in, and I mean that. From what I hear that is hands down the best site to work.
They may be a bit more picky than my site due to the low turnover

Not trying to derail but anybody got the North Carolina meme of the same format of OPs??

For what I'm making right now, 80k a year is almost enough to make me move back to MD. But I just got my Texas LTC and own a whole mess of guns that are no legal in MD, so it's not really worth it. Besides, without being prior mil, it's a non starter anyway.

God damn I'm glad I went to college

Military is no longer a requirement. We will literally take anyone who can safely handle a gun
Education is rarely a bad thing. We do have officers with degrees though. For the liitle work we do this is a lot of money. For the area this is a solid middle class wage.
There are many better jobs. But this one is a great fit for an MD Jow Forumsommamdo looking to get ahead, or out of debt.

how much is the pay rate for OT?

whats the risk level/nog attack rate? what are you providing security for?

for non military people can you explain what the PT requirement is? i dont know how many pushups and pull ups "military standard" is

i have a LTC currently in california. but might be too old im 33. also have no experience in security. currently wagecucking at an IT job. are you doing contracts for federal facilities like the NSA or reserve bank and shit? i know theres lots of fed stuff in baltimore

do you have to watch xrays all day or wand people? or just sit around watching a secuirty cam? what are you actually doing? patrolling back and forth somewhere? what are the shift hours, night or day? i really dont want to do any night shift unless its only partial and i can get to bed before 3am. i hate being on a nocturnal schedule

OT rate is time $42.90

Low risk level. We are only there for just in case.

Google APFT standards and look for your age group. But generally if you can do 50 push ups and sit ups you are well within the standard.
I dont know where the standard is for the sprint, but if you can do 300 yards in under 1min you are at least close.
The dummy drag boots a lot of people. But of you drag it slow you will make it. And remember (theu will tell you this at the test) if you fall you can get back up and drag, of you drop the dummy you fail.
All events are pass fail. For new hires when you hot the min standard they will tell you to stop
(Ex: 18 year old male push ups min is 42 so he would get to 42 and be told he is golden)

Just cam security and patrols. 24/7 ops

You may not like this job from the sound of it

I feel like this is spam...but I'm like 90% sure I'm going to quit my job this week and I live in Columbia, so it seems more like God is trying to tell me something.
Is it appropriate to put "OP" as a reference?

Attached: TheMostGerrymanderedDistrictInTheCountry.png (955x973, 1.06M)

If I'm young but 20-30 lbs overweight, how much trouble will I have with the PT standards?
I don't wanna waste anyone's time.

Not spam. I woukd give up my name but I am a bit worried my boss will get trolled and I will get into trouble.
Apply, articulate that you can articulate, (nudge nudge wink wink), that you can handle a firearm (4range safety rules) and you should get a call back. Say you heard about the job from a guy in Baltimore but didnt get his name.

Test yourself and if you hit the standard you are good. Be honest with yourself though.
Weight is not a requirment so as long as you pass the test you are good.

I gotta run.
If anyone thinks they can meet this standard and needs a job apply

I don't meet the min reqs. Thanks for posting though. Seems like a cool gig. Hopefully someone in the area can fill it.

The min req are VERY flexible. Read the thread.

The PT min is the only real requirement

>tfw work at a bank and never touched a firearm in my life despite browsing Jow Forums

Congrats to whomever gets the job

Yea...
lol

Interesting. Since my current job is absolute garbage, I might try out then. Unfortunately, I have no plans for leaving Texas, so I won't be able able to help you out directly with your staffing issue.

Is this for a marijuana operation.

No

what are we guarding exactly? is payment under the table in cash?

There's nothing like that in that in Columbia.

Any chance at an ADA waive on the run? 100% VA/70% DoD disabled, med-retired combat arms with 3 combat deployments. Can still pass the pushups and situps in the 17-21 bracket but fake knee means no running unless my life depends on it.

Former TS and former interim TS-SCI, current NRA instructor certs for pistol and handgun.

Got anything in North Carolina?

>Baltimore
NOPE
I live in College Park and I want nothing to do with this shithole.

Read the thread. Its in Columbia not baltimore, thats just the closest major city.
No waivers.
Cant say exactly. But its under the radar because its not something sexy, its just stuff that would be stupid not to guard.

have you had to use your gun to guard it yet? caught any dirty muslims scouting and up to no good?

Last i checked, they were hiring entry level demo guys across the river from belvoir.

this honestly freaks me out.

I meet none of the minimum requirements

>unironically working for Securitas

Laughable

Even the PT?
Do you make more than $80k a year? If not come on over.

I ets in a year and I'm considering giving up on being a contributing member of society and wasting away in isolation for the rest of my life. What's the hiring outlook for next summer/fall?

Attached: m9ped8qlnwuy.jpg (720x960, 66K)

Entry level demo still has xp in explosives and or engineering.

Pretty good.
...yeah the job itself sucks, there is no room to grow. But if you need to pay off some debts or want to build up some savings its great for that.
The company contributes $4.50 an hour to your 401k. After 3years of being there I had $20k in it. Thats something you can take with you when you leave or cash out.

Any locations besides Maryland?

but im 20, so have i been in a coma since i was born and i taught myself everything i know in a coma?

Stupid pasta

Isn’t that shit pay becouse apartments are like 2600 a month out there

Yes. But I am only able to provide a heads up on the MD location. Either look through the Paragon CIFSO postings or google CIFSO. Pay varies by site a little, but the contract says we are to be paid the average police officer salary for the state. In MD we have a union that gets a little more than that, but if you calculate the wage and perk pay it would be about $56k a year. With OT we RARELY come in under $80k and I have never made less than $75k
The idea is that in your coma you only think you are living this life, so everything you think you remember is a dream. So like you think you are 20 but really you are 50.
No this is keeps us all in the middle middle, or upper middle class. The guys that live closer to DC live in nice areas, the guys that live in the rural areas live like kings. One guy drives 90min to work every day, because its worth it to him. My housr paymenys are under $2000 a month and I live in a nice house in the burbs

What's the actual location? I live in York but don't feel like an hour commute every day.

Columbia is as close as I can tell you.

Gotcha. That's even further, no good for me. Thanks though.

Right!
