The only really bad thing about the production quality I've noticed tends to be when soda jugs and whatever is blown out of can cover obscuring the the lens. Even then it doesn't really bother me that much I didn't really believe hydrostatic shock was a thing till he was explaining the differences in the hydraulic pressure creating larger holes depending on some of the bullets energy.
Other than that I like how it covers a variaty of subjects and targets. Although if I had to gripe about anything when he uses the meat target he just mentions the bones are broken not if they like are just clean breaks or fragment and get propelled or anything not that it's important, just personal curiosity about that sort of thing.

OP might be wrong. Harrell has definitely been in 2 self-defense shooting situations outside of his military service.
One of them, he and his friend were being shot at, I don't think they returned fire, but they had to hide behind their trucks.
He definitely did kill a man in self-defense, you can just google his name and find it, but basically he and his wife were camping, some bros came up and talked to him, one of them wanted to either join them or have them come with him, and they declined.
The bros left but then came back, the one guy was drunk I believe and driving his truck and he was driving straight at them and Paul thought the guy was trying to run over his wife, so he started shooting through the windshield and killed the guy.
He was found not guilty at trial, it was self defense, and even the surviving bro testified that the dead bro was behaving erratically.
