Washington state?

NYC Fag here, I want to move to a free state, but I'm not so hot about giving up the comfort and ease of big city living....is washington state a good middle ground? Can I have nice city things and also practice muh freedoms? if not what would you guy's suggest?

>TLDR
>can I live somewhere and walk or subway/taxi EVERYWHERE easily AND own/carry a gun legally?

bump for wisdom

We are going to get even more regulations that demand universal background checks and raising the age on gun ownership. This state is getting much worse, so I wouldn't waste your time moving.

as a born and bred washingtonian of 28 years, I'm moving to Idaho next summer. I can't stand this state anymore. Every city in Pierce, King, and Snohomish county is mismanaged to the point of absurdity. Taxes increase every year, rights diminish every year, the liberals get more liberal every year.
I'm not a hard core right winger but I am a staunch consitutionalist and die hard 2A supporter, and I very VERY rarely run in to like minded people. People usually look at me like I'm crazy when I mention guns.

Everything in this state is expensive, even living in a neighborhood where you could be shot regularly has high rent.

I haven't ever been to idaho how are the cities? I know it's contradictory but I am just not built for rural life I love the second ammendment (spent 6 yeas in the marine corps before I was medically retired out) and I just can't do it....especially since I can't drive anymore

Boise is not rural my dude haha.
Washington state is one giant fucking city from Puyallup all the way to pretty much Bellingham (about 140 miles +/-)
You don't just end up in the sticks unless you head east past Issaquah / Monroe, etc etc.
Pretty much everywhere you go in Pierce, King or SnoCo is a giant suburb or semi-major city, where 9/10ths of the population of the entire state live.

As for Idaho, Boise is a pretty big and its a red state / city.
Boise has better gun laws for the most part, way lower cost of living, way less taxes, and depending on what you do for work, you'll most likely make the same as you would in NYC or WA

Nothing's passed since that private sales background check thing years ago. Only thing that's changed is taxes in King county

Lexington, KY is pretty alright. It's a city with all the degenerate things cities offer (bars, gays, Sunday sales, traffic, late night pizza, escorts, etc.) But it's also the center of one of the most uncucked states in the union. Also still has southern hospitality, and one of the best medical facilities you can ask for. Not a lot of downsides.

Oh, and it's still KY, so not many niggers and the ones we do have still know their place.

Also the background check has a less than 1% compliance rate

>Also the background check has a less than 1% compliance rate
I'm going to need to see sauce on that statistic.

>acting like a decent citizen is “knowing your place” according to white people
And you wonder why the left constantly demonizes you people?
t. Black KY fag

>And you wonder why the left constantly demonizes you people?
>you people
spotted the real racist

They don't act like decent citizens (and we know it would be an act), they're still niggers and do nigger things, but they know to contain it to their very limited shithole neighborhoods. Because every white person has a gun and an itchy finger for nogs.

It’s a good thing me and my family are law abiding citizens who give back to our community, otherwise I would be offended by your dipshit post

Interested to see how this argument plays out.
Based blax make good neighbors when you don't live in the hood. On the other hand, it is hard to separate the actions of nice blacks when you go to the mall and you think you're in downtown nigeria.

t. Atlantan who lives around blacks

we got dangerous protection orders, a bump stock ban, seattle's gun tax that was upheld by the state supreme court, and mandatory denial reporting over the past couple of years.

I grew up in, and lived in a pretty nice area of Washington, Bellevue. Then I left and joined the Army and fucked off on my own. Years later, I finally come back to visit old friends, and holy fuck WA got pricey. Like, everywhere, and everything. Rent in my hometown is insane. Tons of buildings everywhere. Too much man. People here own guns but they don't care about paying absurd prices for them apparently.

And Seattle is basically Night of the Living Homeless, and they aren't scared of anything. Heroin is rampant.

>>can I live somewhere and walk or subway/taxi EVERYWHERE easily AND own/carry a gun legally?
Somewhere in Texas?

I feel like you might have misunderstood me because I'm being a bit abrasive. I'm not some Jow Forums level racist, I'm talking about actual niggers, not making a blanket statement about black people. He'll, KY probably has one of the highest percentages of actual normal people that happen to have dark skin. I'm talking about actual niggers who use drugs and commit crimes as a lifestyle. Those are the people here that know their place. The white needle junkies are the only real problem in civilized areas, and even they are negligible compared to other places.

Reminder that Asians are superior to whites.

Go away Xi

Get back to me when Asians win two world wars and don't get nuked so hard the only thing that survives is anime.

You can like anime without being weeb trash, just like you can be black without being a nigger.

>basing the superiority of a race on how violent they are
Well then by your own standards, niggers are the epitome of man.

>strawmanning this hard
wew lad, hes really reaching.

Derailed thread aside Washington Star is a pretty nice place to live. Would recommend

this is painfully accurate.

This state sucks, dude. Real estate out of control - $450K for two story stackers houses in Marysville. Laws out of control. Weather sucks 9/12 months. Immigrants and faggots ruining everything. Homeless druggies everywhere.

I mean, Washington is a nice place, but if you're living at the newspaper office, you're probably homeless.

>Weather sucks 9/12 months.
are you one of those faggots that hates the rain but moved to washington anyway?

Not him but you must only stay inside and play video games year round if you think the weather doesn't suck 3/4ths of the year.
I love rain, but its super fucking annoying that any activity you would like to partake in outdoors is usually fucked by rain. Coupled with the fact that despite raining 200+ days a year nobody in the state knows how to drive in it, and thus adds an hour on to most activities due to traffic.

>Doing a quick run to the Fred Meyers on Casino Road anyone?
>Don't forget to pack that piece in your sweat pants.

MFW cheapest rent on that road is around $950 for a one bedroom apartment by Boeing and inhabited by needle user

I love that Fred Meyers, I got there all the time in hopes of seeing another robbery or carjacking.
The amount of prostitutes pulling tricks behind that building is fucking unreal.

Take a trip to Seattle and just drive around.

I moved here for work recently and it is just messed up how bad it is as far as homelessness. The same people sit at the same street corners everyday begging for money. Some bring their kids. The city is dirty and though is generally safe, a lot of homeless have mental illness or addiction issues which makes things a little less predictable.

Then consider the state tax on out of state gun purchases which is dumb as fuck and 10%. There are also really dumb waiting period laws as well.

I plan to move back to AZ when I'm done here (so long as AZ doesn't get Cali cucked like this)

I dont mind the rain but the weather sucks, and combined with the shitlibs, makes me question living here. Why not move to somewhere that I don't have mildew in the closet if I have to deal with shitty laws and worse traffic?

>mini homeless camp by the Money Tree
>plasma donation center across the street
I saw a dude smoking meth at that stoplight, while he was waiting for it to turn green. Yeah OP, move to Everett.
