Leopard 2 is such a sexy beast in winter camo, best looking tank in that camo.

Attached: Panzer_III_Ausf_J_12_Panzerdivision_winter_camo_1.jpg (1335x866, 144K)

is just so lewd dude, kraut space magic at its finest

isn't that 2a4 ?

Who goes there?

Attached: Armorinwinter.png (1920x1080, 3.26M)

That is Finnish way of painting it. Best part is that it is conscripts themself who paint it white, so you can have your own little impact on the outcome. Of cource there are set rules on how to paint it.

Title of the picture is wrong. That is Leo2a4, not a5. It has Finnish licence number 273- which means a4 model. Moreover Finland only has a4 and a6 models.

Ah fuck, yeah you are right.
Apologies

Am I the only one who's noticed that the Leopard 1 looks kind of like a King Tiger, and the leopard 2 without the spaced armor on the turret looks kind of like a Tiger 1?

Didn't notice that before, you are right, damn krauts

Hey, no one will notice if someone paints something on the bottom. It'll even wear out next time the tanks are used.

Now i am imagining a Leo 2 flipped on the side in a conscript fuck up, with a giant penis drawn on its belly and a raged red faced Sergant Spurdo scolding the conscript crew.

Someone draw this.

And still has a defacto MG-42, albeit chambered in .308 and named the MG-3, iirc some of the MG-3's are literally re-chambered MG-42's, with all the old markings just crossed out.

not a flipped leo, but it's something

Attached: lataus (1).jpg (640x480, 99K)

Here's your fuck up, it's a Leo 1 tho. also not flipped.

It would be commander's fault. Specially in a4 model where there is no reverse camera.

if I remember correctly that was the (conscript-) platoon leader's tank (wasn't there myself, but know someone who was)

Then there probably was his training officer on top of the vehicle as well. How did he do?

Kinda depends on the A4, ours have those. A lot of tiny mod's by different nations all over the place, i bet

Well yeah, I guess the camera isnt that hard to install. Still I know that Finns dont have them

Anyone experienced going backwards while wearing gas mask and having the hatch closed? TC has this small prism that he has to peak through. Really hard stuff to do.
Good thing that in a4 you can safely turn off the stabilizer for that action, not like in a6.

>"once again the tank company has successfully taken over Leke!"
"Hätilä, Hätilä, mikä ihana paikka!
Vettä ja räntää vuoden ympäri ja kesää loppuaika!"

I've tried driving A4's and Cv90's flat out backwards on ice/snow while zigzaging cones, using only the TC's "left/stop right/stop" commands. I felt that was easier than trying to use the camera on the A4, but that might just be because the camera is a new-ish thing

Only the german-ordered Leopard 2s have MG3's. The ones originally owned by the Dutch has the FN Mag.

These were taken out of service almost immediately after being received. As we only purchased cluster munitions for them they're mothballed and aren't ever maintained so nowadays they're literally rusting to pieces in some humid mountain hall.

Finns modernized T-55's in late 80's with modern fire control, night vision systems and new engines extend their lifetime. Those were also given in small numbers to non armored units for OPFOR training purpose. T-55M's were cheaper to run, easier to maintain and more capable tanks than T-72M1's.
