Someone familiar with a muzzle loader can fire 2-3 times a minute. The Las Vegas shooter had about an hour of shooting. That's roughly 150 shots average, but probably a lot less because they'll get tired and slow down, so let's say 100 shots to keep things even. Probably 70% or more shots will miss. That's 30 hits, most of which won't be instantly fatal. You're probably looking at 10 dead best case.
