So i don't know what it's like nowadays, since i haven't played gta for a long time now. But a lot of people don't realize that GTA is a parody of american culture.
I've heard some antigunners actually say that getting a gun is as easy as it is in gta. I've also heard people actually use gta as a authority on gang crimes (it's not).
It's a very good parody i will say that much, i dunno what it's like nowadays but that was the intention.
Replay San Andreas if you are able to sometime, it has aged like a fine wine. And with the 80s meme nostalgia fading and 90s slowly rising it's going to be a spot on time capsule.
