Ive been thinking of building an AR to put a binary trigger in to act as a sort of machine gun

I'm caught between an m16a1 build, and an m4 clone (since xm177 parts seem like a bitch to get)

If you were going to get an AR to shoot in binary, what would you get?

A Binary Trigger doesn't act as sort of a machine gun.

A machine gun is a machine gun.

I think you know what I meant, as in I sort of get a similar feel without having to pay for a rental at my local range

all you need is your finger

I would go with an a2 build personally because i like the desert storm aesthetic. Do whatever you want OP nobody on a Mongolian basket weaving forum should decide what rifle you should get.

That's not as consistent. I've bump fired my Draco a few times just by hand and it wasn't as fun as shooting a machine gun, and I think the binary trigger will be closer in feel

I already have an a2 build in just semi that I use for practice. I like it as is (aside from the forend being a little loose

Well go with an m4gery then

You are either:
A. 14
B. Trolling
C. Someone with an agenda trying to get gun-owners to admit to something you suspect or want to believe about gun owners
D. Genuine in your ignorance

Whichever it is, please fuck off.

>sort of get a similar feel
The selling point is that you sort of get a similar sound. An actual M16A1 Rifle is not fun to use in auto; the intermediate round, high rate of fire (950 RPM), and lack of muzzle brake result in an unpleasant, shooting experience. A hammered pair with a performance trigger is superior to binary fire

I've rented an A1 at my local range, and it wasn't unpleasant at all. It was at least easier to control than a Thompson.

>5.56
>Unpleasant to shoot
>Hard to control on full auto
Lmao
Also isn't 950 a little on the high side for an m16?

Good luck keeping it on paper beyond 15 yards

Does this sound under 950 RPM to you?

Good luck finding an AR that isn't overgassed

Wouldn't an m16 with a binary trigger be at least a little slower?

Maybe 800ish idk i'm not a fucking computer. Also in the video (you) posted they say it's easy as fuck to control on full auto.

[ 60 seconds / 900 rounds ] [ 30 rounds ] = 2 seconds
If it takes less than two seconds to dump a 30 round magazine, then the rate of fire is greater than 900 rounds per minute

>semi
>safe
>binary
Dude you're a fucking bigot, safety is on a spectrum.

Okay

>tfw Rick Scott banned Binary triggers
I hate that fuck

How the fuck can we be the gunshine state if we can't have guns?

Tell me again how a vote for Republicans is a vote for the 2A

You are either
A) retarded
B) retarded
Or C) really fucking retarded
