Should I buy a WASR or build an AR with Aero precision and BCM parts?

Out of those two, WASR I guess

Build the AR. The AK market isnt great right now. A decently built AR will suit you just as well as an AK will.

You should do both.

depends on priority's
if you want an ak specifically. then wasr.
if you want any semiauto rifle or to maximize bang for buck ar.

I just want a good working rifle that will last me until I can save up for the other. I want to buy one that I'll have the most issues getting in the future. However, I'm afraid of buyers remorse with the AK and that I'll want an Arsenal.

I plan on it

>decent AR vs over priced reddit choice AK with Century monkey support and garbage furniture
Hmm

>will suit you better than just an AK will
FTFY

In that case I'd definitely build the AR and then save up for an Arsenal. A quality AR should only set you back $600-$800 depending on the parts you go with.

Thx for the edit

Is that a pencil middy on the right?

WASRs are Romanian built you fucking nit

A PSA AR shits on Arsenals and whatnot.

And imported by Century, noguns mcfaggot

It indeed is a faxon pencil middy. Shoots great

Because they're made in Romania instead of the US they deserve no connection to Century's reputation. They're gtg from the factory and I've never seen nor heard of a WASR having problems from the past 5-8 years.

Go back to /arg/ you dumb faggot

Can't import semi autos as per 89 AWB. Romanian parts built by century.

>inspection, assembly/reassembly, QC and warranty all under Century
>but don't connect them to Century!

Post your guns and get learnt bitch. Century is the importer and has nothing to do with production.

>go back to /arg/
What you really meant to say was you wanted to look like less of an idiot while contributing nothing to the conversation

You mean the one that expired in 2004?

No that was the 94 ban

Its 922r you clowns

Goole 89 AWB for fuck sakes. Importation of semiautomatic rifles is forbidden

Then please clarify where there is still a federal awb. Because we import Turkish guns, Romanian guns, Serbian, Bulgarian, Israeli, german and countless other firearms from around the world each year for private sale.

>pic related was made in spain

You mean like Zavastas, Arsenals and up until recently, Saigas?

Buy the AK, It'll never be this cheap again.
Buy the AR later. It'll stay around the same price and if there is a price increase it'll either be temporary due to media hype or it'll be minimal

Retard. I fucking remember the 89 ban. No more ak importation, just parts kits. Then in 05 you could no longer import receivers or barrels.

Pistols weren't covered. It was specifically semiautomatic military style firearms. Everything nowadays is rebuilt parts kits.

>own Draco
>100% Romanian made, literally just imported by Century
Nigs shill the Draco for a reason ya know

Ak's are decent rifles. Ak fanboys are shit. They make Russian gear no fun.

>Ak fanboys are shit. They make Russian gear no fun.
Painfully true
T. AK owner (but not poverty WASR lmao)

>Then in 05 you could no longer import receivers or barrels
I literally have a 2009 production AMD63 that has "MADE IN HUNGARY" stamped on the side of the reciever. I also have an SGL31 that says "MADE IN RUSSIA BY SAIGA" stamped on it too and the barrel has russian stamps. I dont know who you think youre fooling, but 922r is a thing. The banning of recievers and barrels on completed firearms is not. Even SKSs and MAK90s were imported well up onto Norinco got banned by name. Maadi imported complete rifles through the 90s also.

If by reassembled, you mean the furniture and muzzle breaks are swapped out, then sure. Romanian AKs (for the sake of this discussion) have barrels and recievers made in Romania that are assembled with carrier groups upon import.

Buy the AK they are way more fun to shoot than an AR.
