I love these two. The h&r is a rabbit destroyer and the 7 shot 686 is okay for the mountains. I would get a 4 inch though, 6 inches is a bit heavier than I'd like for camping.
I like the marlin, sad it doesn't habe a full length mag.
>Wild turkey
Come on, Canadian whisky only.
Do you carry both at once?
wood handled hatchet>steel handle
Tomahawk>wood handled hatchet
I usually bring my surplus 75b innawoods.
I was looking at a 4" .357. Kind of leaning towards ruger since it doesn't have the hillary hole and that full length "underbarrel whatever it's called" like a lot of the s&w s I've seen.
>I own/use a CZ-
Oh no, he's retarded
This meme needs to die. CZs are perfectly good guns. Why did it suddenly become fashionable to hate them?
Nah typically just grab the h&r when I see a small animal on the property too remove it from the Earth and I carry the 686 on the hip when I'm innawoods
I've been eye fucking this Husqvarna, thoughts?
It’s a solid hunting gun now
I mean I recommend shooting both. I had the same dilemma but at the end of the day the Smith just shoots much, much better than the gp100. It's just a much nicer firearm
It was < 300 on buds a while back and is honestly one of my favorites. But yes, I am possibly retarded for getting that over a surplus hi power for almost the same price. I think the hi powers were in poor condition though.
>CZs are perfectly good
THAT'S the meme retard.
CZs were okish when they cost $250 new.
But since then the quality has gone down and price skyrocketed, that's why old school Jow Forumsnuts had one or two lying around, because they were cheap babbys first gun.
Buying one after ~2010 and you're a memer, or contrarian retard.
That axe is ok.
What are you wanting it For?
used to have an optic on this, but since switching to irons I've realized she's a really handy rifle for the woods, and I can run the action fast enough for her to be an adequate bear gun.
Why the fuck is that scope mounted so far forward?
Fucking retard.
10/22 takedown and a 1000rd blaster brick. Fits in a typical lady's purse but lethal out to 200 yards. I got 30+ rd mags and an x4 optic. I could kill every living thing larger than a mouse within a mile in a few hours.
It's not far enough forward for scout/pistol scope type relief (scout scopes are already fucktards as is)
And to far forward for standard eye relief.
Also
> scope on a 150 yd gun
So again nigger, what the fuck are you doing?
Hiking axe and general hatchet for backpacking
>[citation needed]
The only people I've heard complaining about CZ quality are 12 year olds on this board.
>all scout scopes have 14" eye relief
if you actually knew anything you'd know that plenty of LER optics have extremely generous eye relief from like 7" to "12+
Honestly, a wood handled tomahawk for that.
Axes are only needed for splitting pretty fat rounds (which you'll need a saw to make rounds) or to fell trees, if those aren't I the table a tomahawk is better, lighter, you can make a new handle in the field, and the heads come of easy to use as a knife skinning tool, carving tool ect. And still will clear brush, branches and process most wood you'd need to if you aren't felling trees.
I can assure you that’s it’s far enough forward for a scout scope and allows for more precise shots at under 200 yards.
It’s literally as far forward as possible on a scout mound lmao
>scout scope
Ruined gun, and confirmed for an idiot.
It’s called a lug. What you’re after is a full lug revolver. I like the look of those too, but some half lugs like the Redhawk look pretty good.
>more precise shots under 200 yards
A flat out lie.
What a fucking idiot, I truly hope you're trolling, and that someone so retarded doesn't own a firearm.
What length would you recommend? My buddy just got a gransfors bruk small Forest Axe and it was the perfect size, just it's 200 bucks and it's a cunt.
Makes sense to me. Not sure what your #1 fan is on about.
ads.midwayusa.com
If you don't need to fell a tree or split rounds bigger than ~6" diameter, this will be better, which it's rare people do that stuff hiking.
If you do need to do that, maybe get that axe you linked earlier.
Autism
Falling trees is pretty comf though, it's a great way to let out aggression
>t. A retard who bought Into marketing wank about the inferior scout scope
>bu-but my Jeff Cooper
Fuck off idiot
And usually illegal unless your own property.
And it's felling.
Hike/camp primarily on the AT, gotta keep it light and concealable
If a tree falls in a Forest and no one is around to hear...
Plus I only cut down dead trees.
Show us where a scout scope touched you
A felon fellin' fallen trees?
Again, usually illegal.
I don't really care what you do honestly, but after hiking a while, having a Lighter tomahawk will be kind to you.
Is...is...that the porn casting Jow Forumsouch?
Good to know. Thanks man appreciate the tips
You quite literally posted what I have already and literally used for my hike yesterday. Would have to say it's definitely a good and comfortable gun to sling along. When I was out miles and miles away from civilization I didn't feel afraid of anything since I carried the 45-70 with me.
>Being this butt-frustrated over what another grown man does with his money
Sir I'm going to have to ask you to put down the onions
I've been seeing a sharp increase in the amount of aggressive autism. I have a feeling it has something to do with the day/k/are posters are getting anxious about the upcoming first day of school.
This fucking guy...
>not enjoying the spicy caramel deliciousness that is Wild Turkey
Day of the take when
Is that what it tastes like?
This. It's problaby nogunz or people who collect various guns, but rarely shoot them.
scopes on levers are ugly as fuck
No.
I like bourbons, but most of them literally taste like what a dirty barn floor smells like, rotting hay and wood.
>read this
>no it doesn't fuckwit
>but now some bourbon sounds good
>poor 2 fingers of buffalo trace for sipping
>/sip/
>ohgodno.jpg
>now I can taste the barn floor
>he was right
>now I can't un-taste it
Fuck you asshole. Ignorance was my bliss.
heres a meh pic of my late 30s s&w hand ejector model(pre model 10)
it shoots good but its pretty beat up which is fine cause i dont feel too bad if it gets banged around innawoods. i carry it with my stevens/savage 311 sxs when i want to larp about innawoods like im a 40s prison guard hunting down escaped convicts
Nice, my brother
Ignore the boomerfudds
>Combined peep-sight and scope
The most accurate system known to man.
Scandi Forest Axe is the best product they make
you need a hounddog and a lantern now
>calling an aperture sight a peep sight
>thinking aperture sights are more accurate then v/u notch/buckhorn sights
Whew the kids are out thick today.
Why a revolver instead of semi auto?
Check this kid out.
Aye 1985 brother.
My Lend-Lease Victory Model. Are there better options out there? Yes. But are there more aesthetic options? Also, yes. But I just love the way this thing feels in my hand.
>he doesn't have a Jow Forumsasting Jow Forumsouch
Fag.
>wanna be in my low budget movie?
>suck that fucking mosin barrel
>stroke the sig, cup the mag
What gun is that
I think it's a Mossberg patriot or mvp IIRC.
Bump
what strap?
because semi autos are good for urban pest control, but the requirements of reliable feeding limits their case size. revolvers are king of big bore and hot load shooting.
>imb4 muh 10mm auto
10mm is a meme and is surpassed terminally by the lol 9mm
9mmfags stfu, nobody was asking you shit and your puny caliber really should not even be mentioned when discussing hunting revolvers.
Bring my AK and rig to larp and have fun, hate me.
Truth hurts
S o y b o y

Scout scopes are great, you fucking child.
>terminally outclassed by 9mm Luger
Where the fuck did you read this?
I’d argue 9mm is a more effective anti personnel round because of advantages of easier shot placement, less noise, smaller/lighter guns while still achieving good terminal ballistics but it’s literally nowhere close to the same power factor as 10mm.
10mm both expands more and penetrates more while also being typically a heavier round, so terminally speaking, it is more effective.
