Question. In Bioshock Infinite there is a lever action shotgun (similar to a henry 22). There is also a rifle that has a magazine sideways but fires like a machinegun. Is there anything similar irl? How effective is it?
Question. In Bioshock Infinite there is a lever action shotgun (similar to a henry 22)...
gonna have to post pics
The machine gun reminds me of the sten gun from WWII
The shotgun is probably modeled after the Mare's Leg style lever action guns. If I remember correctly it has the cut stock
Looks like a cross between an old school Blunderbuss, Mare's Leg, and an Ithaca 37 pistol grip
I kinda like lever action guns except that fucking pistol. Would be cool to have it irl.
There have been lever action shotguns with the most popular one being the winchester 1887 designed by John Browning. Automatic guns with sideways magazines include the british lanchester, sten and sterling submachine guns, the german mp 18, mp 28 and mp 35 submachine guns and fg 42 paratrooper rifle, the italian breda M30 machine gun, the american johnson m1941 machine and some jap smg from world war 2. It used to be a popular concept, mostly abandoned after WW2 with the exception of the sterling.
Unless you're 14 you should have already seen both Terminator 2 and A Bridge Too Far before posting in k.
>Hello Jow Forums im from /v/, are there any side feeding weapons like this from Bioshock?
Yes, for example the British Sten and Sterling submachine guns.
Not really from there. I just came here to ask since I am no gun expert. At best I know what a blunderbuss is and gun classifications. But other than that, I suck.
Kinda looks like a Winchester 1887 with a birth defect.
Kinda looks like a Sten with a birth defect.
Funnily enough, the revolver is basically just a Webley with slightly shitty grips.
At least until you upgrade it. Then it's pic related.
So it's a pistol krag
>A thread died so you can post retarded kike shit dreampt up by a liberal in a cubicle
>A thread died
Yes this is how it works on Jow Forums, reddit
>Caring about a thread that made it to the last page and got bumped off
>Not bumping that worthwhile thread you cried about
Faggot
It's a cut and paste monstrousity. Gigantic heat shield weighing a ton and a half, frigging leaf back sight, just a single carrying strap ring. I liked the smg in the first Bioshock game a lot more; that was essentially a Thompson.
a bit like a lancaster
*lanchester
autocorrect got me
>Johnson
>sideways magazine
What did he mean by this?
Johnson LMG, not the rifle.
