Post .25 acp guns, discuss .25 acp, and talk about why you enjoy the under appreciated .25 acp cartridge.

All hail the .25

I just like the fn pocket guns. They make me happy. God help me if i ever forget to wear my jframe with it.

Amen user, amen

The real question is how difficult would it be to convert a 10/22 to .25 ACP? If I could find a barrel blank with the right diameter and twist, reem the chamber out and have a machine shop profile the barrel such that it’d attach to a 10/22 receiver, what else would I need to do? Convert the bolt to center fire and figure out magazine compatibility right?

Yes user basically gut the firearm and rebuild it

I’m autistic enough about a weak and outdated cartridge to try user

Do it. For us.

First start is finding a .250-.251 barrel with a fast twist. Where even begin?

You might need to have one custom made

>tfw a custom 10/22 in .25 will probably cost me more than a custom high end AR

Please you crazy bastard do it!

How does she fire OP?

Considering picking up one of these, though I'm not quite sure about trusting my life to .25

I genuinely haven’t had a single malfunction in 400 rounds. And the large front sight post on the GT-27 helps with aiming. I shit you not, was able to shoot clay pigeons out of the air at 7 yards with it. I love it so much

How are the Phoenix arms .25 pistols? I know they're cheap potmetal guns but would they make a fun range toy?

Just buy the beretta and you'll be fine

They’re fine as plinkers but as the other user said you’ll be happier with some older Italian Saturday night special or a beretta

Thx, I'll keep that in mind. An older euro pistol would fit nice in my small collection.

A tangfolio like in OPs is only like $150 if you’re a poorfag and want something cheap

I'm not a poorfag, but I'm not made of money either. I'd be willing to spend up to $300 on a good .25 pistol.

I've got three .25's in my collection but I'm looking to pick up a Colt 1908, FN 1905 and Baby Browning.

Here's my Mauser 1910 (alongside its larger .32-caliber brother), definitely one of the biggest .25's you can find.

I need to take a group photo of the three .25's together. Here are the other two, a Galesi Model 9 and a Astra Firecat.

Anybody have experience with one of these little guys? Bought it a few months ago, barrel is rusty and I haven't cleaned it up yet. Appears to be fixed barrel simple blowback.

Dammit, here's the pic

This is my 90 dollar little doo-dad. I am ordering a bullet mold and some press dies so I can start reloading.

Mmmm.... pocket guns....

I EDC a 25 because I can.

What 25 should I buy boyos, I now need one

Hey you fucker I paid 90 dollars for that are you me

Because small caliber, high capacity bullet hoses are the future.

While this may bw true (mp7, p90 etc) .25 acp is NOT one of those cartridges

.25 is fun fun fun

Fuck, now I'm gonna be up all night looking for my own classy 'lil piece :/

Are you me?
> Tfw no firearm in .25 acp with barrel over 2.5 inches
>Tfw .25 acp has the same energy out of a 2.5" barrel as .22 has out of a 16"
> tfw no plinking rifle in a quiet but reloadable cartridge

I unironically think that when .22lr disappeared for a couple years starting in 2012/2013, .25acp was the hero we needed but never got. Every quality .22 could probably be re-released in .25, just like they did with .17 hmr.

They exist if you've got thousands of dollars to spare. For example, pic related. A scaled-down Thompson that fires .25 ACP

meanwhile in an alternate universe where the NFA never happened,

May be getting a little SNS for shiggles. If I go .32 ACP I'm getting an FIE Titan but what is there in .25 that's any good?

tandem magazines.

What we need is just a technological innovation that makes primers reusable by boiling or something, or substantially reduced in cost.

does anybody know if they make .25 ACP blanks?
I'm an avid reloader of smoke grenades, and 209 primers are too powerful for the fuse heads

Someone buy my sterling

Why don't mouseguns believe in double stack?
