This, although i personally am a fan of a snub-nosed revolver

Something in .357 SIG or .41 AE for the coolness factor.

To cut in front of the inevitable anti-revolver faggots:

Revolvers are more reliable than automatic guns in the sense that they don't really suffer from things like failure to feed or failure to eject, and you can simply skip a round that turns out to be a dud. They do have reduced capacity (6 rounds is a good number if you want a round that's going to actually stand a chance of stopping someone before they get out the door), but most robbers will run after the first shot is fired.

Fair warning, revolvers don't fail often, but when they do the failure can be catastrophic. Keep that in mind. You won't be banging the slide until a round pops out, you'll have a jammed brick. Modern revolvers suffer from that type of failure very rarely, but it's something to consider.

Basically if you want a sidearm that will go bang when the trigger is pulled and not suffer from shit like weird hand placement, get a revolver. If you want increased capacity or just want an automatic gun, get a Glock 17 or 19.

Javelin.

Close quarters you can use it to stab. Short to medium range you can take a person out easily.

One hit and their entire nervous system will shut down and they'll go into shock. Being struck hard by a long, bladed weapon will do a lot more than a small calibre bullet.

right?

Attached: AC5561.jpg (600x403, 110K)

Biggest reason revolvers are pretty gucci for a small business is that everyone on staff might have firearms training and this eliminates most handling skills and limp-wrist issues. Also point super well.

I agree, Javelin is the answer

38 special revolver preferably one with a 4 inch barrel and loaded with hollow points for better killing power. I never trusted in snub nose guns and not like you would need to conceal it in a pocket or holter just keep it handy somewhere close to the cash register.

i hear the 38 is cursed because one shot is never enough to do the job

god fucking damn it

Thats why I said load hollow points

Fun fact, that happened a few blocks from my house about 6 or 7 years ago. Stop and Shop, Eureka CA.
I knew the guy getting a gun pointed at him. Huge Magic the Gathering nerd. Pretty hilarious that he's seen hotter scenarios than most vets I know.

This is PewDiePie's fault

I use buffalo bore 38 special plus p hollow points. I trust in them, I'd put them up against any 9mm any time. I've seen what these can do to 2x4's, melons, water jugs. They make melons explode pretty well.

Loss existed on Jow Forums way before pewdiepie knew about it.

bigger is better.
if its under the counter a full size pistol

Double no.

He repopularized it recently.

Its best to just give up and let the attacker take what they want even if they want to stick it in your butt

Based asians removing the negro menace.

38 special for its simplicity and reliability. It points well, recoil is low, its accurate, just point and pull the trigger. One can be had at almost any pawnshop in town for around $250 to $300. Load it with quality ammo and you'll be gtg. I'd recommend Remington 158 grain lead semi wadcutter hollowpoints. Six well aimed shots would stop any attacker. Practice your shooting. And watch out for that one guy who said give up and bend over he's a fag.

One thats strapped to you. Odds are youll get robbed closing up or opening up, or in a back room somewhere. Id just go with a stock glock, with some hst ammo. Be a gun friendly business so your employees can carry too. Be smart about who you hire, robbers usually get inside tips from someone. Keep your head on a swivel and be firm with assholes and blacks, but don't escalate unless you have to. Get a decent camera setup that you can monitor from a phone.
t. small business owner for 20yrs never been robbed.

Christ, I can't stand looking at Eureka anymore without visualizing it's biblical immolation; and shit is flowing down the highway into Fortuna now.

This ok for defence?

maybe for defense against some particularly aggressive snakes...

get out of here you hill billy

For business defense? I'd suggest a Scattergat. Probs a Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 for new, however if you can find them in your price range id recomend an Ithaca 37 or a M97 Trench Gun so you can slamfire that nigger.
For a handgun go with a 1911 or if you want a wonder 9 pick up a Baretta M9

Come on though .410 or .45colt at gas station size engagement distance should be pretty effective right?

The Serbu Super Shorty, Mossberg version. Easy to stow, 2+1 capacity, 12 gauge, considered AOW so a $5 tax stamp, +1 shotgun of fun/+2 versus robbers.

Attached: Serbu Super Shorty.jpg (1024x413, 42K)

No, it's shit.

At 7 yards you can practically walk through the shot pattern of 00 buck. from that thing.

It's a great idea, but piss=poor execution, thanks to the ATF and the faggotry that is GC legislation.

Like a regular shotgun that costs $200, except weaker and a third the capacity.

Any decent double stack 9mm handgun
Mav 88
MP15 sport 2

Dress like a goddamn cowboy and also strap a Winchester model 1887 mare's leg to your thigh. Carry a colt 1851 navy on the crossdraw. Pack a fat lip of tobacco and call everyone who comes into your shop "hoss" or "darkie"

A .38 Special revolver. Revolvers are nice because you leave them around and neglect them, and they'll still fire when you need them.

at last, Jow Forumsriminals are back

I’ve never understood the idea of robbing a gun store. I thought criminals were supposed to be afraid of armed victims yet every once in a while you hear about someone getting btfo by gun store employees.

>why would people looking for expensive loot rob a place full of expensive loot

Low IQ is an important consideration.
Here in Canada they get hit pretty often by gangs. Never in daytime, always at night when nobody is around. Firearms cannot be owned for self defence, but the heavy iron bars and double security doors mean it takes a ton of effort to break in at night.

>I’ve never understood the idea of robbing a gun store.
If you're successful, you get more guns.

All wrong. DRACO is the best choice.

They are gonna rob you with a draco so you might as well have the same ammo so you can kill your enemies and reload. Also simple, small, 30 rounds, superior caliber, and you have maximum intimidation factor

>YO GIMME ALL DAT MONEE
>pop... FSSSSHSSHHHHH
>Fuck you and everyone around you
I'd pay money to see one of those used as a close-range protective device.

It's one of those things where they'll do it if they think they've got a chance at overwhelming you. We have people scout is, take pictures, and see how many people are at work semi-reg. Gotta make a little show of force and have some situational awareness and that usually gets them to fuck off.

Tie dental floss around their heads and see how well they can aim.

>wasn't in 2018
You deserve to be at the end of that barrel

What is a Glock derivative

Most of you fags are giving practical guns for some gay business, yet none of you asked what type of business it is. If it's a fashion store you're gonna need something really aesthetic otherwise the gun does only -10 damage.

>maverick 88
>peasants
Just spend the extra cash and get a Mossberg 590.

A 15 or 17 rd polymer 9mm and two spare mags and a 5 or 6 round Snub-Nose. And whatever else you want to stash around. I carry at minimum two guns. God forbid nigs gotta nog and your the target.

Dont do this. It's range toy and nothing else. I'd rather have a pistol over my SS.

ACC-556 clone sbr mini-14's are fucking awesome, too bad the stocks are like $700 collectors items now.

Little known fact, but before PewDiePie was famous he used to shill his shitty black ops videos on /v/.

A Shockwave with a pistol brace so the clerk can fire it one handed is a way better option.

its literally the same exact thing. different trigger group. why spend more money than you have to?

The Quantico Tactical where I lived ended up moving locations because they kept getting broken into so much. Not sure if the robbers actually got any guns, but they kept breaking in and trying.

If you can't afford pic related Mav 88s are pretty cheap

Attached: Mini 14.jpg (676x380, 9K)

Why not just get an AR pistol over a min-14? I know they’re popular due to rooftop korean’s, but ARs are objectively better.

Step 1: establish what the largest firearms you can reasonably tuck away in your shop is
Step 2: establish the most powerful round you can control in said concealable firearms
Step 3: establish budget and determine which capable firearms are in said price range
Step 4: select the firearm with the most capacity, stopping power, and concealability produced by a reputable manufacturer within your budget.

Things to avoid
>anything not semi automatic
>anything less powerful than .40 for handguns, 5.56 for rifles, or 12gauge buckshot for shotguns.
>anything keltec, taurus, century arms, or SIG

Things to keep in mind
>Handguns are a compromise, you trade power and accuracy for concealability and are poor choices unless you absolutely MUST have something small enough to be concealed on your body
>Buying lowest bidder ammo will get you killed when it matters most
>In some firearms spare magazines are cheap and practically disposable so you can keep spare mags in your car, under a table, or in a desk, increasing your potential firepower without risking any firearms being stolen or falling into an attackers hands
