Is it possible to get a better .45 at this price point?

Not currently no.
No, 15+1 and ambi controls make it perfect.
Had one, enjoyed it but sold off for a glock 19 because I wanted something to double as CC and home defense.
My only complaint about it is that it had a mediocre trigger it may feel awkward if you have small hands as well
except fuck huge and blocky.
does HK have anything with similar capacity but more comfy grips?
It's not THAT bad. Get a good belt and a loose shirt and you're fine.
Understandable. My only pistol right now is a CZ P10C so if I need to carry I'd use that but I really like the idea of a .45 combat handgun in SA/DA. I don't know why there aren't many reviews out there on YT yet, it's been out for a while.
USP .45 is better in every conceivable way.
>at this price point
Does anyone have a comparison between this and the Beretta PX4 Storm SD? Also looking for best .45 for use with suppressor.
They're at the same price point right now.
Proprietary rail on the USP is retarded. I understand it came out before picatinny rails were the industry standard, but come on HK. Just update the fucking design so it has a standard rail already. Nothing else about the gun needs to change.
They did update it. It's called the P30 and HK45
$1-200 more from what I can tell
Yes. Easily.
Not similar capacity. The "fuckhueg .45 handgun with comfy grips" would be the HK45, which holds like 10 rounds IIRC.
sig p320 is a bit smaller capacity-wise, but just as good.
Not true
>GRIP ZONE
I want to like them, hell I loved it when I shot one.
That GRIP ZONE on it just kills me though. Fuck, if they spelled it with an X it couldn't be more 90's sounding
Wow, can't believe that there's still SigFags out here in 2018. And ones that mention the dumpster fire that is the p320 to boot. Truly a sight to behold.
He is right you know.
oh ok thanks pumpkin
>G R I P Z O N E
are they really this retarded?
a can not wtf? strongly enough
I bought one about a month ago. Got around 300 rounds thru it so far, going within the next week to shoot another batch of ammo. I found it to be pretty damn fun to shoot, accurate, and the 15+1 capacity is god tier. brings up something to consider though. I'd say even with my medium sized hands it might feel a LITTLE awkward. And the trigger feels somewhat mushy. We'll see if that gets smoothed out a bit once I put some more rounds through. All in all, I really do like it so far. Get one.

>HK with more capacity
No
>HK with comfier grips
Hahahaha no.
I've had one for years and its still my favorite gun.
If you conceal this thing you are either stupid or gigantic.
Its a smaller grip than the USP and the G21SF you dumb homo.
The G21 and +2s have been around for ages. I had an FNX and it was good, but it was nothing special
It's longer.
>cheaper
>higher capacity
>optics ready
>better trigger
>smaller
>actual rails instead of that proprietary abortion
imagine being this much of a hkfag, go play metal gear solid or something
This, the "update the USP" faggots are retarded.
squishy squishy squishy
say you lived in the Philippines
would you pay whats equivalent to almost $ 3 grand for one?
for refence glocks are like $800
Length doesn't really mean anything for IWB CC.
>tfw no steel frame FNX
>Springfield
Shiggy diggy
Different user. But Grip length.
We found the moronic anti capitalists because nobody ever puts the marketable features of their product where people can see it.

What's this mean? I'm not super familiar with the gun

Why does it fucking matter to you?
Name YOUR favorite gun so I can post images of THEIR marketing.

Fucking catalog gun parts, are you serious?
Go to HKs website and take a look
Yes, yes I am. Where would we all be today without 400 dollar AR's and AR pistols?
The fnx45 has a reputation for having a squishy frame, particularly the mag well
saying what engine and model name on the side in small letters is the equivalent of "glock 20 10mm" on the slide
"GRIP ZONE" is like if they wrote "ENGINE BAY" in giant letters on the hood
EXHAUST MAKER
>engine and model name on the side in small letters
A model badge bigger than your head is now considered "small". IDNKT
Oh look its that guy who cant prove its his gun
I feel the same user, but the polymer keeps it as light as compact pistols.
that was like 200-300 guns from a year or two ago
>Is it possible to get a better .45 at this price point?
>assblasted Springfag
Why don't you suck up even more to a company that gladly sells its customers up the (Rock) river?
Like, how do you look at G R I P Z O N E and think "This is fine!"
The lobbyist talked to his leftist buddy about a law that had no chance of passing, even in ultra libtard Chicago.
You do realize the dummy relative lobbyist was fired?
But here you are trembling in your soiled panties over it.
Maybe better in terms of quality, but no not practicality. 15 rounds of .45 is fucking amazing.
>capacity
>SA/DA
Not a huge fan of glocks either, desu. Not because I think they're bad, but because I'm a special snowflake.
>thinks that those fags who left their polymer gun in a hot car or baking on a black truck bed are representative of the gun’s quality
Glock magwells have some give to them even at room temp, and fn45x isn’t much worse. Most polymer pistols are going to have some flexibility by design. It’s actually good for durability.
>Sit Zone
My P10C has no flex whatsoever. Extremely rigid polymer.
No that I really care. I understand the support in the magwell will be thin in order to fit 15 rounds. It's solid when loaded so who cares.
>Oy vey, nothing to worry about goyim!
It was only seen in one fucked batch of guns, all the other ones are fine.

I'm not a nigger I don't want a massive magazine protruding from my pistol.
You're still wrong
The original guy did in another thread, I think he's just fucking with the hkfags
By that logic an Auto Ordnance Tommygun pistol is the best foddyfive because you can put a 100 round drum in it, you fucking shitass faggot.
Bulk and weight matters, and having a long-ass fucking mag protruding out the bottom isn't convenient.
15 flush is superior to 12 flush, deal with it.
Yes.
>10oz lighter
>quarter inch thinner
>almost an inch shorter in height at the cost of one round
>simpler, more reliable
>grip adjustable from Trump hands to bear mitts
>cheaper, more common magazines with limitless extension options
>same price or cheaper
the example you showed isn’t even above average for badging
Jeep Grand Cherokee badging takes up more room
Dodge just hit BOLD twice to fool your monkey brain into thinking it’s bigger than it is
Also it doesn’t have another badge ubove the badging that says B A D G E Z O N E
Its not like you edc a fucking big ass 45. Kys and take your false equivalents to hell with you

Guy you were replying to
If you’re looking for a high cap .45, it’s the best thing on a relatively niche market imo. About the only real competition it has is the Glock 21 and HK USP45, the former of which is tossed out if you want specifically a DA/SA hammer fired gun.
In that regard, compared to the USP:
>3 more rounds
>normal button mag release vs weird paddle release
>standard accessory rail vs HK proprietary bullshit
>cheaper
>slimmer grip despite higher cap
HKfags like to say that the grip is bigger and it is in terms of being longer. But what they dont bother to acknowledge is that the FNX grip is smaller in circumstance. I have small hands and was originally looking at a USP but it was to big to grip comfortably and securely. The FNX was much easier for me to get a good hold on despit the handle being longer.
They also like to point towards muh squishy grips meme that several in here have referred to. This was because there was an issue several years ago where 2-3 people here in Texas had left their gun in a car or on a range bench for hours during record high heat in the summer, along with it being a small batch issue with the polymer that FN acknowledged after reports of the issue. That said, most polymer framed guns without the magazine inserted will have some give to them if you press hard enough. But the issue was temporary and resolved long ago
>inb4 FN shill
You people who get so defensive of your expensive and equally memeish gun are laughable
>at the cost of one round
>glock 41
>13 rounds
>FNX 45
>15 rounds
FNX fits 14 rounds in a standard mag. The 15 round mags have a huge basepad. I'm comparing flush to flush.
>huge basepad
It's barely any larger.
I have an early FNX, thing's great but MAY have issues with lower powered ammo (only malfunction I've had is a failure to eject because of some cheap ammo not cycling ONCE), and the trigger isn't the best for double action, for me it's too slick so my finger slides to the very end of it by the time it fires. Otherwise it's not bad at all, and if you prefer your guns cocked and locked I'd easily recommend it. If you prefer DA/SA, I'd recommend it with the caveat that you make sure the trigger doesn't bug you
Mags are still 40ish bucks, too, so keep than in mind as well
That's disingenuous as the 15 rounders are standard, the most common available, and the gun itself comes with 3
Still adds noticeable bulk. It's almost the size of the Glock +2, which is maybe a couple mm taller but lets you have that smaller grip. Either way my point is the capacity isn't done by some black magic, it uses tall, thick magazines and a blocky grip to accommodate it.
My bad, I didn't realize they only come with the 15rnd mags now. It used to come with both 14 and 15 round mags.
I rented one for shits and giggles a couple years ago. Really liked it. Start reading up on it, find out it's pretty ammo sensitive and people have had some serious reliability issues.
I dunno. I found the trigger to be pretty decent. Out of 50 rounds I shot never having handled one before I was shooting 1-2 inch groups at 10 yards consistently even double action.
I like the idea of an offensive handgun, but I think if I ever buy one it'll be the Mark 23.
>this assblasted about GRIP Z O N E
xD

I've never heard of these reliability issues and I've shot all sorts of +P and shit-tier ammo through mine over the past 6 months

I like the FN but the USP is way comfier. I know this is just your opinion and my opinion though, so we probably won't ever agree. I think the FN is a better gun but I still prefer the USP. I know that's just my opinion though so I don't go around spewing shit about how the USP is the best gun ever.
Are you kidding me? It's very important unless you have a ridiculous forward cant on your holster.
You can get two XD-E .45's at that price point.
Have you ever activated/deactivated the thumb safety by accident while the gun is recoiling?
On the 1911 it's fine to ride the thumb safety, but with the FNX's decocker would it even fire if the lever is out of position?
Only one of two things can exist to prove your point:
1) You have two thumbs on each hand, or
2) You have no webbing left between your thumb and booger hook because the slide ripped it out
>noguns
What point? I'm asking a question.
If you're shooting with two hands it's common to have the thumbs forward on the same side, but surprise, guns jump when recoiling. Mr. Airsoft.
youtube.com
We can all hope we'd be better at dealing with the recoil than that guy, but even on other videos of the FNX I see them readjusting their grip constantly after every shot.
youtube.com
That's why I was asking if recoil was a problem and if the gun shifting in their hands could activate the safety/decocker or move the lever slightly.
>two GRIPZONEs
>my counterargument is that i'm a retard
>limp wristed faggot
Sucks to be you
