they make sure the world doesnt get over populated with dogs
They blow up real good.
Experts at wasting tax dollars.
They helped bring guns to impoverished Mexicans.
They're mortal men, so we only have to endure their existence temporarily.
I love how the legs stop working after the 5.56 fragments in the spine.
What kind of rifle is that?
I've dealt with them in a business capacity, eh not so bad on that level. The leadership on the other hand...
They can and do assist law enforcement in tracking down dangerous and violent people. Our “community” isn’t inundated with headlines about them thwarting terrorist plots to blow people up, only the failure.
They do a good job of enforcing laws enacted by Congress. Most ATF agents, like most federal agents in general, do their best to enforce laws according to the currently accepted interpretation of those laws. Their current bad reputation amongst firearms enthusiasts stems from the horrible press the ATF, and other federal agencies, received during the highly publicised and politicised federal sieges against radical domestic terrorists during the 1990s, such as the Waco and Ruby Ridge incidents. People love to hate them, despite the fact that they are members of the executive branch of government. All they do is enforce the laws. ATF does not make firearms policy, only enforces it. If someone violates that policy, the ATF intervenes. Most ATF agents are dedicated law enforcement officers that do an excellent job fulfilling their duties.
All joking aside this man is right. It's fun to joke on them but they aren't our enemies. It's the politicians who are our true enemies. They are the ones making the laws that the ATF has to enforce.
They are the jackbooted thugs that enforce unconstitutional laws. They are the enemy more so than the leeches that made arbitrary laws. You could leave the politicians in a tower to make laws all day and it wouldn't matter if there wasn't treasonous enforcers doing their bidding.
s for spit
>Nuremberg defence
You need to go one step further to get to the true root of the problem.
The people who continually vote these leeches into office. The apathy, ignorance, and moral weakness that makes such a thing possible.
The agent that audits my workplace is a qt3.14.
You are literally retarded
One time they arrested some jackass who was setting off pipe bombs in my neighborhood...
...After trespassing on my property...
Unparalleled animal control services
>Say something nice about them
Their stolen collection of illegally confiscated firearms is neat.
This. "Just doing their job" I'd a terrible excuse when they signed up to do the job in the first place.
its some weird looking gook AK I think
>ATF does not make firearms policy
Clearly congress decided trusts need fingerprints and mugshots
Clearly congress decided that inviduals cannot repair their own suppressors
Clearly congress decided that all open bolt guns should be pre-emptively banned as machine guns.
Clearly congress decided that pistols are designed to be operated with one hand, and one hand only
Thus clearly congress decided that screwing a foregrip to your glock makes an AOW and 20 years in prison
While this is mostly true, the ATF does fall into some of the pitfalls of three-letter executive agencies— i.e. false flag ops in order to entrap liquor/gun stores
Note that the ATF still hands on to this interpretation of foregrips despite being repeatedly told off by the courts. Most notably US v. Davis.
25. Title 26, United States Code Section 5845(e) defines
"any other weapon" as:
... any weapon or device capable of being concealed from which
a shot can be discharged through the energy of an explosion
... Such term shall not include a pistol or revolver having a
rifled bore, or rifled bores, or weapons designed, made or
intended to be fired from the shoulder and not capable of
firing fixed ammunition.
26. A "pistol" is defined in Section 5845 as
A weapon originally designed, made and intended to fire a
projectile (bullet) from one or more barrels when held in one
hand, and having (a) a chamber(s) as an integral part(s) of or
permanently aligned with, the bore(s); and (b) a short stock
designed to be gripped by one hand and at an angle to and
extending below the line of the bore(s). 27 CFR 178.11
(emphasis added).
27. Even after being modified with grips, the pistols are
still "pistols" as defined above and not "any other weapon" as
defined by 26 U.S.C. section 5845(e).
alcohol and tobacco are the only way i make it through the day. so good job i guess?
They're really not as bad as they were back in the 90s. They've made some rulings that are good for us, like allowing the shouldering of arm braces and approving the Shockwave. And a lot of people forget that they're a federal law enforcement agency - they don't enforce cucked state laws.
Hey! I remember you, come on user ask her out!
Whose gonna post the picture
Don't forget about string-chineguns!
The closest to nice is they always approve my stamps.
When "they take money promptly they shouldn't get for bull shit laws" is the upside..
they are good at starting fires
Found it, its a Bam 3 air rifle
>They do a good job of enforcing laws enacted by Congress.
Citation fucking needed. They take more liberties with the law and bungle more operations than any other agency.
>Cobray Street Sweeper is a destructive device
>Akins Accelerator is a machine gun
>Sig arm brace is a stock
>Solvent trap adapters are not registerable as suppressors
>You can't have a non-FFL help you with your %80 build
>Parts kits must be torch cut

>Tried to ban M855
>Trying to ban bump stocks
>Refuses to allow any type of NFA amnesty
>Ruby ridge
>Waco

Thanks for keep away the guns from Jamal and Tyrone.
ATF didn't do the street sweeper designation as a destructive device. That was the Treasury Department. And it's either GCA or FOPA that allows the President to enact another NFA amnesty if one decided to go that route.
>one of her bedroom roleplay is that she has to measure your cock for compliance, but doesn't have a measuring tape, so she has to use the next best thing, her vagina.
Whoa friend, they actually do. First, they require all FFLs to follow state laws as a condition of their license. Second, when you try to prices an NFA item they require adherence to state law.
Satirically speaking of course.
>sir, I'm afraid you have an unregistered SBR
Good at shooting dogs and being pigs. Also good at unifying for a coverup story.
Oh it's horrible press, is it?
Yeah, you're a faggot bootlick too. Enjoy your dead dog.
>shooting blanks as well
>All they do is enforce the laws. ATF does not make firearms policy, only enforces it.
Well luckily we live in a country where the career you choose is entirely voluntary. It's why I have no pity for general law enforcement or ATF when they get rightfully shit on, they knew damn well they would be enforcing shit laws and still picked the job. While yes, the real true boss enemy is Congress, you cannot ignore the foot soldiers of Congress.
The certainly know how to generate revenue to keep their agency afloat.
I don't believe for a second that $200 stamps on NFA is for fucking "safety" it's because they know damn well they would be dissolved or have no funding without it. and the threat of being a felon for life is serious enough to make most people submit.
A
fucking
men
did you ever get around to asking her out user?
not him, but no I haven't
Unironically most of them are pretty good guys. Bought a lot of shitty SNS pistols from an auction and got paid a visit by two agents.
Basically shot the shit about guns and got made fun of for collecting such shitty ones for an hour.
>gook looking AK
HAHAHAHA top fuckingKek
