I'm greek and those two are our service rifles. We replaced the fal with this because the state wanted a locally manufactured rifle but they didn't trust a private company (pyrkal, the biggest greek ammo company) with manufacturing rifles so the state struck a deal with h&k to have a new state company produce the rifle.
