I don't think so. If you're so invested in the cLOnE wArs then the URG-I with the MK16 is your best bet as far as the MK8 goes. IMO the MK8 looks like a RIS II if it were MLOK more so than DD's own Mlok rail

URG is the only clone acceptable Geisslee, and they are expensive when bought alone as there aren't really many out there, and the ones that Geisslee put out through Brownells only come on an upper and cost like 1500 or some shit. I have a mk8 and wish I just got a DD RIS II.

BCM offers a 14.5" complete upper minus hand guard with an option to have the bird cage pinned and welded.
I prefer the A1 3 prong flash hider myself though

I really like how inexpensive A4geries are, how accurate the 20 inch barrel is, the solidness of the stock, and the aesthetics of the RAS Rail. Also the buffer spring ratting in the tube.

I kinda miss my A4gery. I had an FN-15 thing, not the Military Collectors Edition, had the big ugly screened on billboard FN logo on the right side of the receiver. I sold it because of that. I should have just had the upper and lower refinished. Fuck.

Dude I understand. I was looking at that model at first because of the cost difference. Despite the cost I was dead set on getting something that looked the part. I would've bought the Collector's Edition but in the last moment I found a Colt A4 NIB for $1k flat and the RAS Rail was also only $150 NIB with all accessories in the KAC plastic bag (Circa 2006, never made it to the war). I didn't want the MATECH BUIS anyways.

Its insane how Special Forces Group do their "training" as an organization. Definitely NOT a giant ammunition expenditure before the fiscal year. They had support dudes like cooks and supply cycle in and out to "train" with foreign weapons. Cool guys though.

It's on a Colt brownells lower at the moment, but I have a 80 lower off the CRA FB group coming soon with .gov M1A4 markings. If I can manage to finish it without fucking it up I'll use that for the MK18, and maybe I'll replace the upper with a C marked Colt one and replace DD carrier with a Colt one as well. The Elcan will never be correct but at least at that point it will look more of the part. Never did an 80 lower before though and I'm scared of fucking it up.
