My AK handguard is a bit loose, can move it fore and aft a few mm. Is this normal?

The upper or lower? Both is normal but you can get a gas tube spring to keep the gas tube/upper from rattling

you can make a shim to stick in the handguard, or do like they did on the later romy handguards and some other ak74 handguards and make a spring steel l-shape that fits into a notch on the lhg and pushes against the inside of the retainer for maximum comfy.

yeah the 107CRs go for $1400 and then I still need to replace the fsb with the EG one and get the barrel extension, and even then I won't be able to fit the stock I want, so custom build seems like the best way to go.

Romy push buttons feel totally fine imo, they're offset so they line up with your cheek better, but all feel fine. I think E.G. is longer

Do they beat underfolder? I got used to my Yugo underfolders feel but a part of me wants to go with either a full stock or Triangle next. I did consider romy though, which is why I'm asking. Ill admit the underfolder doesn't feel the best imo.

What do? I found a surplus sight drum for cheap but will that fix it or will that one loosen up over time too?
