Nice 1897, is it a repro? I got an offer to trade my Enfield for an original takedown Winchester 1897. Only thing is it's got a 30" barrel, which I'd certainly want to change out for a 20" or 18", provided I can find one for a decent price.
Solid. I'd recommend a .22 rifle, pistol, and some kind of revolver.

I love my FR-8 as a brush gun. Light, handy, decent sights (better than anything with a tangent rear, anyway), accurate, and best of all chambered in .308. If you find one for a good price, I definitely recommend picking it up.

Plus it's just the cutest little companion for my PTR :3
