Muhreens are built up like crazy through military worship and propaganda, when they're overall just glorified infantry who do shorter terms than regular US Army grunts.
I like calling them 'soldiers' and suggesting they should be folded into the Army, because they get super touchy about it.

If you want to see something more impressive, check out Army Rangers, or fuck, even the Coastguard. For actual specops, there's Delta, and the old Green Berets and old MACVSOG types.

We train wide, they train tall. A marine who is assigned to an M240 will know pretty much everything about that weapon, vs the average Canadian infantry Cpl would barely pass PWT 3 with a C6 unless they were weapons det throughout the year.

If you have this idea that we're better than them you're probably some fucking private who just got off his DP1. Some Canadian units are more junk than others, some Marine/Army units are better than others, this the reality.

You do realize boot camp is stage one of USMC training, not the end right? Most of the more technical skills are taught at tech schools after boot.

i did some training with one of your infantry units in camp pendleton. We did the O-course and your guys can barely accomplish it. Your females could not. It was sad because we were doing better with hour plates on and you guys were just in boots and utes.
