What are some of the best CC guns for women, I am not talking about a hooker pistol or one of those gimmicky pink versions of a gun. My gf wants a CC pistol, but none of my guns seem to be concealable on her and she likes rifles more than pistols.
What gun can be carried on a short/small stature woman without purse carry.
Requirements
>9mm, 380, 38 spl, or 45 (no 40 S&W)
>Max budget of $800
>Must be able to be concealed. (no rifles or NFA)
Pic unrelated.
Best CC gun for women

My girlfriend is 5'5", 100lbs and loves this gun. Below is the holster she uses on a daily basis.
Glock 19. Don't give your gf something that you wouldn't carry yourself.
Also, printing is a meme.
Hammerless snubnose .38 revolvers are and will always be the gold standard of guns to give to women.
Not because they're more reliable.
Not because they're more powerful.
Not because they're easier to shoot.
But because they're retard proof.
With rare exception a wamen is not going to train with let alone familiarize herself with a firearm. With a snubby, you don't have to worry about having the grip strength to pull back a slide, limpwristing complications, disengaging a safety, etc. You just grab it and pull the trigger until it stops going bang. Retard proof.
There's the issue of capacity, but statistically the vast majority of defensive gun uses number between 1-3 shots fired, very very rarely is it 6+
>can't pull back the slide on a semi-auto
>but can definitely pull a double-action trigger without jerking the muzzle
Stop giving this fucking fudd advice. By the way, anyone who is too stupid to operate a Glock should not have access to firearms, automobiles, or cooking utensils.
>he thinks DAO triggers are heavy!
Go give a newbie, man or woman, a semiauto. Tell them to rack the slide. You'd be surprised at how hard it can be without the muscle memory we take for granted. Meanwhile if you jerk the trigger a little but at five feet you're still going to hit center mass.
>Go give a newbie, man or woman, a semiauto. Tell them to rack the slide. You'd be surprised at how hard it can be without the muscle memory we take for granted.
That's why you practice with something you trust with your life. Racking the slide of any semi-auto is easy with proper technique. If you can open a jar of peanut butter, you can operate an automatic pistol. Trigger control, on the other hand, is something that takes quite a bit of range time to master.
Beretta Pico, Ruger LCP II etc. Whatever 380 she likes the most. Easy af to conceal.
>Beretta no Pico
I have an extra Berretta pico magazine if you want to buy it. Whatever you buy just practice with it.
...and you'd trust a woman to do that instead of just tossing it in her purse and thinking she's invincible now?
Do you have ALS or something? Airsoft slides are about as to cycle than actual slides on a fullsize pistol and it's played by literal children no problem.
Why .45 but not .40S&W? Just get a CM9 or a Glock 43 like everyone else, or a Bond Bullpup if you're feeling fancy.
I agree that women are retarded, but that's neither here nor there.
That's... kinda my point though. That those guns are as retard proof as you can get.
Except for the triggers being way too heavy for most women to comfortably pull. That means she's never going to practice with it. And what happens when you do need to reload? Revolvers are antiquated.
Is this the fudd9k thread
hay guise wad ib shid hibs the fan i neeb besd gun for habing no benis. i neeb do hide id.
Have you tried any modern dao wheelguns? The triggers aren't heavy at all, just have a long but smooth pull.
Reloading is a weak point for sure. But not likely to be an issue.
If she's having that much trouble concealing it, maybe she needs to go to extremes with a holdout pistol.
You can get this NAA Black Widow for under $300, $400 with laser sight, with Hornady Critical Defense ammo at about $14 per 50. Yes, it's .22 (magnum, at least). Yes, it's single-action. Yes, it's 5-shot. But it'll have revolver reliability, and this is as concealable as it gets, and it's a gun. 99% of the value of CC is accomplished by carrying anything that looks like a gun, goes "bang", and causes pain and bleeding.
Look at it this way: it's something she can wear on her person in the lightest clothing consistent with CC, and then maybe you can get her something more substantial she can wear under heavier clothing or carry in her purse.
It's inexpensive and fun to practice with. Frankly, you might want one for yourself. Holdouts and backups are a good idea. In fact, .22s lead in single-shot stops, because people don't want to count on them to stop with a body hit, so they aim for the head, and they get the fastest stop possible. The single-action design and optional laser sight are well-suited to getting that head shot.
There are smaller holdout guns, though not by much. The Black Widow has a relatively chunky grip, but it has it for a reason. When you go too small, it gets very hard to aim properly. The smaller her hands are, the easier it'll be for her to aim it.
Glock 19, 26 or 43, depending on what she's most comfortable with. And as that other user said, printing is largely a meme.
Oh, and you can get the Black Widow (and similar .22 WMR holdout revolvers) with a second cylinder for .22 LR, if you want really cheap or quieter target practice.
(thought rimfire's cheap enough generally that you can just target practice with your defense ammo)
tec-9
LC9s. pro model if she's pro enough to be trusted with it.
If she's more high speed than my girl, and who knows she might be, try a p938.
Women usually dress slim and have less forgiving pants for jamming holsters. Keep it light, keep it single stack, and keep it dependable. Do I wish mine would make more compromises and carry something a bit more stout? Sure. But at least she has no qualms carrying this anytime anywhere. That's what you have to do with lots of women that don't have a huge drive to learn this stuff due to passion, you have to make it incentivized habit.
I only know one woman who talks about her EDC. She loves her M&P Shield.
Walther CCP could be interesting option to look into, it's a single stack 9mm, but due to its action (gas delayed blowback) it has less felt recoil than other similar sized pistols and slide is easier to rack.
snub is better only if she will never train with it
>you don't have to worry about having the grip strength to pull back a slide
I will never understand how this is possible. how fucking weak do you have to be to struggle to rack a slide, male or female?
It comes from people delicately peenching the slide between thumb and finger. Tell them to grab the slide like they would grab a cock, 9 times out of ten that will help them rack the slide proper.
he's noguns, that's why he thinks a snub holds six rounds
You are seriously overestimating strength of modern women, even basedest of basedmen with be leagues above average woman.
Glock 42.
>women regularly carry 20 pound purses
>cant summon the five pounds of stength required to rack a slide
???
When I moved to a different state I had to take a basic pistol course to get my CCW. This was a class for people who have never touched a firearm in their lives, but it was cheap and was all I needed for the permit. There was this soiboi army reserve guy there who looked like a more overweight version of the amazing atheist who could not rack the slide on the loaner the instructor gave him to save his life. It was one of the saddest things I've ever seen in my life.
