So after getting a VP9 I'm looking for a USP9 compact

So after getting a VP9 I'm looking for a USP9 compact

Any leads on cheaper ones? Police trade ins or whatever.

you already have a good gun of similar size, why not look at the vp9sk? gets you a good carry gun with common mags

Unless you're purely going for the USP name and fame, you're going to end up not really using it much over HK's newer P lines.

Ditch the toy, get a Glock.

>Ditch the toy
>Get a different toy
>A worse toy

In no way is a Glock worse than a USP.

Why not a p2000? They're like the same thing right?

Just sold off a USP and USPc but still have my G17 Gen3. Feels good.

that's not a meme at all!

If you somehow find a first gen .40 glock then my hats off to you.

I was rocking a usp compact for about 7 years, then i got tired of it's size vs it's capacity

I was in your same shoes and ended up gett ing an HK P30SK instead. Uses all the glorious mags I got with my VP9 (Bought the VP9 police model with night sights +2 mags and got the HK promo where they were giving away 4 free mags), 12+1 Capacity, hammer, etc.

I love it. So much that I ended up getting a P30L and then a USP, hahahah. They're great handguns, I love both the VP9 and P30 Series.

Oh and get the V3 model, not that faggy V1 or V2 variant.

You can use the 15 round P30 mags
You have poor taste and reasoning
My G19 is easily the worst handgun I own
Luckily I inherited it and didnt pay anything
30 round mags and carbine kit are the only reason I keep or use it at all

>I love it. So much that I ended up getting a P30L and then a USP
Hello me
Pro tip: You'll be buying a P7 next

>hey everyone look at me i don't like stuff that's popular are you all looking
fucking snowflakes

People go too far with Glock hate.

I'd take it over most other guns on the market still, but I don't settle for good enough, that's why I buy HK™, no compromise.

Im a total HKfag, but Glocks are just as good as HKs functionally, if not marginally better. I buy HK though because they have aesthetic designs.

Popularity has nothing to do with it
I dislike it because its less accurate than my other handguns, worse quality, and its far less aesthetic.
Stop being a fallacious faggot.
Glocks are only "popular" because police use them because they get them for dirt cheap
Only retards care about popularity over quality

>Glocks are just as good as HKs functionally
It entirely depends on the model.

VP9 is pretty much a factory customized Glock, with a great trigger, infinitely better sights, and much better grip. I'd say it's in every way better than a glock, except price. The gun costs more and the magazines cost way more and there are way fewer holsters out there to choose from. If you're willing to pay more for better, it's there. You don't need a better gun, Glocks absolutely do everything you 'need'. But again, I don't really care about good enough, I love guns, I want guns I want, not need.

Hammer guns it's more complex. There are pretty real advantages and drawbacks to both methods of operation. I carry a striker fired pistol (VP9sk), because I carry in a good, safe holster. I can leave the gun loaded and chambered and not worry about it. My bedside gun on the other hand is a USP .45 Tactical, because I absolutely do not want a loaded and chambered gun sitting on my nighstand ready to go with no safety and just a 5.5lb trigger pull sitting between my sleeping ass and an ND if I go to grab it after a bump in the night. So I would say personally HK wins right off the bat, with Glock not offering anything that suits my needs there. Likewise Glocks are reliable, but definitely don't have the same reputation as USPs when it comes to withstanding truly retarded shit.

I definitely don't believe Glocks are as good. They're definitely good enough, more than good enough even, but not the best. It's like saying your Prius is better than a pickup, because it has better gas mileage. That's not the only factor to consider.

I meant functionally in regards to accuracy and reliability. Glocks definitely have worse sights though. Everything else you said like grip angle or striker fired vs DA/SA is mostly preference IMO.

I agree and I have the same preference which is why my nightstand gun is a 92FS and my carry guns are a P30SK and SW Mod 49. I would still say that its a preference, not an actual qualitative difference.

> Likewise Glocks are reliable, but definitely don't have the same reputation as USPs when it comes to withstanding truly retarded shit.
You'd be surprised. Both the USP and Glock 17 performed admirably in MAC's gauntlet. If I remember correctly they were neck and neck in reliability. The VP9 did pretty poorly though.

FWIW, I don't own a Glock, but my P7M8 which has the Glock grip angle is the gun I shoot best despite having alot more experience with the traditional HK grip angle on the USP/P30.

Didn't the Gen 2 .40s have the exploding issue too? I thought they fixed the chamber support issue with Gen 3.

>falling for the hk meme

Usp compact looks equally awful as a Hi Point compact
