Why are enlisted females so fat?

shitty BMI standards

Is it true that you can lose your job/face punishment for the behavior of the personnel you are in charge of?

How hard did you make your PL's/supervisor's/command's life, Jow Forums?

Attached: entire command leadership of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 — Cmdr. James J. Cho, left, Lt. (1200x451, 166K)

How do I get out of the military if I’ve only been in for 4 months

Get pregnant. Ez

I really hate the green Navy camo.

I just want blue camo or plain working uniforms.

You can literally tell your command and they can get the paperwork started.

Or you can commit a crime according to the UCMJ, get a dishonorable discharge, and become essentially a felon for the rest of your life all for a temporary convenience of leaving the military 2 years early.

>one of these assholes decided to roam through the woods naked, which got the other two fired.

Guess which one was the naked asshole.

Why do you morons constantly fuck up the OP?

There is something about those fuckin puppets that make me sick. Imagine dedicating your entire life to kissing ass and being under someone's thumb

Can you go through MEPS without swearing in/signing your contract during it?

Attached: 1483759877930.jpg (367x300, 21K)

yes your first trip is just that.

if I choose SOF training and wash out, will I be penalized, or just reassigned?

Attached: 1530287277289.jpg (720x540, 48K)

So the first trip is getting medically approved and second trip would be actually signing/taking oath? How late are you able to schedule the 2nd MEPS trip after the 1st?

why does this matter?

you can't be punished for failing non-mandatory courses. you just won't be given the respective job designator and get put "needs of". your punishment is your pride taking a hit.

the middle guy of course

>The commanding officer, Cmdr. James J. Cho, and Command Master Chief (SCW/EXW) Jason K. Holden, were also relieved

they got fired for getting caught lieing

don't be a fucking dipshit and this won't happen

my friend thinks he's going to fuck the females in the marines
i told him he's going to get NJP's for even looking at a female marine the wrong way

who's right?

Attached: 1517704197561.png (1199x674, 2.1M)

it is not wise to fuck marine females. best to stick in the civilian lane. air force if ya gotta but ya never gotta. ever!
not even because of njp, just craziness and drama.

can ya guys help me get a rucksack?

what do you think of these?

maybe I should stick to something I know I can do, rather than trying to be an oper8r and getting shitcanned into being a iedbait humvee driver

is it necessary to train for rucking, or will bootcamp help with that? heading to marines, recon

No, you need to work on swimming. First phase of BRC is pool work for 3-5 hours a day.

>got fired for trying to help their shipmate
fixed

Is there anyone here who has lied about medical history to MEPs and made it through 4 years successfully without constant paranoia?

Attached: ad.jpg (306x423, 39K)

Is it generally considered a good idea to avoid associating with E7s?

Avoid anything over E-6

>few more days until i hear back from surgeon general
nervous

Avoid every e-5 and o-1 and above. They are not human

depends on the issue youre lying about

Is it worth going Officer in the National Guard? Seems like a lot more time to commit to it overall than just going enlisted which is big when you have a full time job on top of it all

Do you only get one chance to join the french foreign legion, or can you try as many times as it takes?

E-5s are just glorified E-4s. Personnel only start to get fucky at E-6.

yes. im autistic. i spoke to marine recruiters but i decided id earn my welding cert first then go airforce

ADD diagnosis and anti-depressants. I'm exaggerating about being paranoid for the next 4 years about lying, but nonetheless I get an uneasy feeling of butterflies in my stomach every-time I picture myself getting caught. And no, I am not depressed in anyway now. In fact I'm probably more happy than I've ever been. But me being an emotional pre-teen I had to go to the therapist to cry about my wimpy problems.

Enlisted in March, now I’m going to Ranger school. Most likely being sent to airborne then assault after that. Bless the army.

>me being an emotional pre-teen
Woops, worded that a bit wrong. I'm not currently a pre-teen now. I meant when I WAS a pre-teen I went to the psychiatrist and was handed anti-depressants.

you wont. anything that happened before you turned 18 never happened to tje government

mos?
youre fine, dont say a word

>value self discipline
>value physical fitness
>value hard work

i feel like i'm missing something here guys

Attached: 1517254096961.jpg (2362x1671, 634K)

SOF enlisted personnel seem less likely to have busted wives. Its mainly conventional enlisted with the fat wives who are 10 years older than they are, and those guys barely have any principles as is.

Hey Jow Forums I'm thinking about enlisting in the air force as an Human intelligence specialist, would this be a good job to start at if I wanted to eventually go to one of the alphabet agencies?

I remember my time in these threads, eventually I enlisted in the USAF and wound up having a reaction to something they squirted into me on vaccine day and swelled up like the fucking doughboy and went to med hold where they told me to get the fuck out.
That place was sad. I think everyone there was at rock bottom. It was BMT but even more fucked because you don't know how long you'll be there waiting for paperwork to go through to decide whether you're getting to stay or you're getting the boot. I had to fight a fradulent enlistment case because they said I didn't tell them about a surgery I had and they tried to blame it on that.

They're sending you to ranger school before rasp and airborne?

What is the best method of this? I seriously regret joining and I’m not adapting well at all, the marine infantry is not for an artistic 4channer

What makes it so bad, user?

Ya, weird

why wouldnt you just look at how long their intel MOS's training schools last and pick the one that gives you the most training?

also are you planning on being a glow in the dark CIA nigger like Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Bill Priestap, Peter Strzok, etc?

yeah i lied about muh asthma from being a kiddo. still have some issues but I intentionally super-pogged out because I don't think someone like me belongs in combat for others' sake.

E5 is still cool you retard. It's the last good guy rank. After that everyone is a bad guy, idc how cool they are, they are the bad guy now.
A good e5 will use his ability to protect the peons from wrath of e6+ and convert it into e5 wrath instead, which is much healthier for lower ranks.

you're not allowed back into the E-4 mafia
go away

depends on the agency. generally intel will get your foot in the door though, once you're in it's much easier to navigate but every agency is quite different culturally and operationally.

god damn it when will you people actually figure this out?
It is now your duty to enlighten these other artistic weebs, alright?
God speed user and hey, survive your 4 years and use that gi bill. You'll regret it if you don't. I know it sucks but there's a fucking light man. Find an outlet that isn't drugs or hookers.

why are you tryna follow in his footsteps? Don't.

>e4 mafia
cool because I'm not army. I'm a fuckin muhreen and you will respect that title!!!
Really though your e4 mafia is just our lcpl underground, I enjoy being a sgt much more, you get all the good rumint and have honed your deflection and sharpened your skates. It is the perfect rank.

Hey 350F user, dunno if you deployed yet or not, but if youre still here, i had a question.

So, i just signed 4 year for 35L, got an op 4, and 26k bonus. How does the rank work? Because everything im reading says that once you graduate AIT you will at minimum be an E5. However, that makes more sense for how 35L was always set up as a careerist MOS. Since this is a temporary entry level opportunity, will I be auto promoted to E5, or will I still be an E1? As far as i can tell there are no 35L below E5. Do you have any insight? I dont really care if i get auto promoted or not, just would like to know more about how this is gonna work.

I was born into a military family so they already have my records, when I was born I had quite a few surgeries done to help keep me alive but as of 21 years later I have zero no side effects (other than scars that arent excusable) from those surgeries. Do you guys think the MEPS doctor would take these into account or let it slide due to them having no side effects. Also i'm planning on enlisting in the air force if that would have any role in this.

Will Air Force security help me get a job in law enforcement?

How is it hard? They literally hand-hold crayon eaters through the process of walking in straight lines, working out, sitting around and even making friends.

You'll be fast tracked to E5.

you can be leo without a military police background you know?
secfo is notoriously garbage.

is getting court ordered to go to a juvie mental hospital kind of place the kind of thing I shouldn't lie about? kind of feels like they'd find out really easy

it's just shitty, especially if you're some sperg like so many here are.
not him but I understand his woes, at least a little bit. you go live in the marine grunt barracks for a few years and lemme know how easy it is.

What this guy said
Secfo is shit. Have fun checking IDs all day and dealing with retarded enlisted. It wont get you anywhere. Cops will take any military experience, so pick a better AFSC.

I did it in the army, because I'm not a sperg. A few people tired of slow promotions in the mareens joined us.

I feel like I'm a pussy for going cyber. Even doing 35N would've been better, at least I'd get to go somewhere other than Fort Gordon/Meade. Just feel like I'm going to be so far separated from real Army operations as cyber - not going to deploy, not going to do intel shit, etc.

fuck real army. if you like cyber, do cyber. if you like computers and shit, you're set.
right now you also have potential to have real impact if you decide to stick around since all this shit is so new for the DoD. Don't fret it. If you really wanted you could reclass later.

If the army didn't need you, they wouldn't be paying you.

I can somewhat relate to your feelings, as someone going for 35P, but remember that each of us is a cog in the machine that is the military, and it would cease to function optimally if we were not in our slotted positions.

ok well he's a sperg. you know the spergs in your unit? They had a shit time, huh?
Yeah that guy is having a shit time. there's really zero benefit to being a grunt unless war is going on unless you consider saying "i was a grunt" a benefit. that's just a pog talkin though. Plenty of guys do find fun out of it.

nah. cyber is the future of COIN. the potential for getting into secret SMUs is limitless with 17C, everyone else has to struggle through advanced land nav or selection.

if you don't like it, stock up on certs, turn around and do it as a contractor for the nsa.

>getting certs to contract at the nsa
certs are for IT/sysadmin jobs my dude. nsa wants analysts and those certs don't make you a good analyst.

>cyber is the future of COIN

u wot

Not really. We had spergs, dumb people, autists, socially awkward people, smart people, but they all found a place to be.

The problem is garrison. If you're 11 series, and there's no war, and you aren't getting out and aren't incompetent and aren't married or resigned to mediocrity, there's really only one place to go: selection.

Any Naval Aviation bros around tonight?

>function optimally
>military

I mean.... it functions, but optimally is not the word id use

my biggest aversion to 35N was that I heard too many stories of people who get sent to some BCT and sit in a motor pool/write FRAGOs all the time and do nothing 35N related

I definitely see your point.

What would you response be to me saying that there are various regulatory and legislative measures that keep it from operating much more efficiently/optimally?

Namely women being in it.

>the problem is garrison
so what you're saying is it's shitty...cuz that's where any infantry boot is gonna be

It gets better. You have to stop being a boot first.

friendly reminder that the military is a scam and it tends to get filled with faggots just like prison

ur a faget

Attached: 1522212723805.jpg (1024x898, 65K)

what are the benefits of taking navy over army? I'm planning on something like army 35n but I want to know if the Navy could do anything better in that area

Would it be viable to train while in the normal military for SOF pipelines? I just dropped out of college and was gonna get a bullshit part time job to supplement my training while on the outside for RASP, but now I’m considering just joining the normal military as I am and just training while in. Does anyone know if I would have time while in to train? Or would I have no free time to train?

If you do the Navy's equivalent of 35N, CTR, you're basically guaranteed to actually be doing your job, you're not gonna be stuck at a low density intel unit sitting in the motorpool all day. Lots of opportunities - you can ride subs, planes, surface ships. Lots of shore opportunities, including expeditionary gun shit through NECC/NEIC and NSW/DEVGRU/other JSOC support.

sorry I'm a bit unfamiliar to navy shit but that last part sounds super interesting

when you say expeditionary gun shit what are you referring to? is that like pipelines to actually operate or just help them? I'd love to do group support and eventually do operator stuff after making some rank and doing a selection

also with opportunities for where I can go do I have much of a say or is it like the majority of military "choices"?

Navy or bust

also sorry but I forgot to ask:

what are the CTR people like in the navy? do they care about the mission and getting the job done or do they fuck around a lot? I want to really do a great job and make a career of the military so I'd prefer knowing if the people I work with would be helpful too

Sailors first, rate second.

Just run your ass off everyday, do push ups, pull ups and sit ups then sign up for infantry with RASP in your contract. When I went through a lot of people quit after both Infantry graduation and Airborne graduation - they were too eager to get to a regular unit and out of the training environment. Don't be that way. Suck it up and don't stop. You'll forever love life after you make it through. I promise.

I don’t understand what you mean. Wouldn’t the added experience in the military and the training environment be conducive to success in RASP? I just need to know if the military will allow me time to train regularly or if I’ll be too busy

You'll be well enough prepared after infantry and airborne.

Don't let RASP scare you. Everyone else in your class will be in the same situation as you. Keep that in mind.

What I forgot to mention that’s causing the miscommunication is that I’m not ready for RASP yet. If I tried to pass the RPFT right now I’d fail. What I’m trying to say is, if I signed a contract without RASP in it and spent a few years in the military, would I have time to progress physically or would my duty job prevent me from having enough time to train to meet those standards. I’m not RASP ready right now but I want to work to prepare while I’m in.

if you sign an op40 you have like 8 months to prepare for that shit as soon as you start basic

by the time you hit airborne youll be green

That's what I'm telling you - you'll be ready for RASP after infantry and airborne training. That's what happens in infantry OSUT. You'll be in good enough shape. What you want to do NOW is running, push ups, pull ups and sit ups. Airborne school is a joke now though. They've turned it into a Disney ride. So be sure to run after last formation or after chow.

8 months? For real? I figured you were supposed to walk into that fucking recruitment office a stud already. Still, not sure 8 months is enough to get to ranger standards from where I’m at now, but thanks for the info

well I mean it's recommended, another guy recommended before I joined to at least be able to do 42 pushups and run at a decent fucking pace so as long as you can do the minimum you'll be super fine but I knew guys who went in and couldn't do fucking 10 pushups
