>dad’s retiring from military
>making asstons o’ money before .com bubble burst
>bought me a first gen Air Force “Talon” airgun for b-day

I fucking demolished so many critters with that thing.

Why did you kill the squirrel asshole?

They chew wires. One squirrel managed to drop power to some 50,000 homes by eating through a wire in a power station once. Fuck squirrels, nibbly little shits.

Going to go squirrel hunting right now. Think I'll take the .410 today.

I had a few of those Daisy Red Ryders when I was wee. One was kinda chunkier and was fun to use for shooting cans and the other that never worked right and was more of a prop but it had like rings for a sling on it and a flip up peep sight along with the regular three post irons.
Also had a couple of those crosman powermaster 760s that you somehow couldn't brain a squirrel with before the seals went out of that.
A couple years ago my dad picked up a gamo bone collector pellet rifle though for bird control and that thing managed to shatter every bone in a rabbit's collar area. Never shot a squirrel with it though because they don't live anywhere near that house.

Shitty tree rats deserve to have their population controlled though, so thanks for the memories of pissing those guys off when I was a youngin'

Remington air rifle, bagged many iguana with it.

I got a Benjamin in .22.
It was used.
I broke the stock at one point as a kid. In my 20's I bought a rough turned weathrby walnut blank and fitted it.
I have collection of about 2 dozen firearms, but that Benjamin is still one of my favorite weapons, some 30+ years later.

New Benjamin 392 is rated at 685fps.
That was pretty damn good for an 8 year old.

Daisy powerline 880 still have it.

nice the talon is a neat gun. I love pcp's. I've owned around 10 of them, and as for fun factor I'd say they're my 2nd fav kind of gun to shoot.

My uncle gave me a switchblade for my 6th birthday

that's what I shoot most of the time these days. Guess I've gotten lazy, but it's much easier to shoot than my springers (prosport, lgv).
8J (6 fpe), used to have diopter sights for 10m precision (still have them, and the rifle is unmodded).

I rained down death and destruction on so many rats with a pumpmaster. That thing fucking ruled. I remember 10 pumps, with an alloy pellet(with a steel B.B. behind it) would just annihalate the shitty little assholes. Or pouring a few bb's down the muzzle and firing from the hip for a shotgun effect. Those were fun summers.

Yeah fuck those squirrels, all we ever did was fill their neighborhoods with tasty looking wires

How the fuck you gonna be on Jow Forums and be salty about hunting

And for the record you'll stop having a problem with ending tree-rats when they're ripping your attic apart lmao

Red Rider
You could also put ants down the barrel on an empty chamber then shoot ants at people.

they are the number one reason for power outages in the us

No offence ameribros, but this isn't the first time I notice US infrastructure is fucking retarded & backwards.

I never got my redsquirrel kill with my bbgun! Probably why I was so brutal to the Grey's with a .22

Pumpmasterace!

i think i was 13 when my parents broke down and finally bought me one

Where do you live, that power transmission is no longer done with wires?

hunting is Jow Forums pussy

EU. Surely it's done with wires, and I'm sure we have just as many squirrels as USA. They aren't as awsome & gigantic & don't have titanium teeth like american squirrels, I'm sure.
Seriously, it's no fucking rocket science to make power network critter resistant.

Try 20ga shotgun on my 7th birthday. My benjamin pellet rifle was a present for my 4th birthday.

Saving up for my first gun but I want an airgun to plink with until then. Have a Red Ryder. What should I get that will last the longest and be the best? Crosman American classic? Daisy 880? A shitty spring pistol?

>t. Never dealt with squirrels

>not removing tree rats.
